Gundroid

A straightforward platform shooter with attention to detail. You can tell that the developers are familiar with the history of these games. The last stage in particular is a work of art.

This is some tight Contra-esque action! The pacing is good, the music is awesome (I'll keep an eye out for the soundtrack release), some nice and creative enemy mechanics as well. You can see the passion for the genre in all the details. It's one of those games where it'll kick your ass and make you wanna beat it all the more. There are small bugs to tweak here and there, but all in all this is a quality Indie addition to the Run'n'Gun game landscape!

So do you remember the SNES classic Contra 3? If so, you’re going to feel right at home with Gundroid. You play as GUNNR in 6 stages with excellent pixel art and great controls. Which let me just say the level design is fantastic: platforming sections, climbing walls, riding motorcycles, even ducking under water while helicopters rain bullets from above. Every stage feels like you’re the futuristic version of John Rambo. That paired with a sick soundtrack makes for that arcade magic where hours pass without you noticing because you’re so locked in. 10/10 - Would die again.

Very good gameplay and incredible sound design. I like the level design. Even though I’m not good at games like this, I really enjoy it.

Good music and art. I like the enemies and weapons. I eagerly await the 2 player mode and so I'll be able to play with my friend. Easily as good as Iron Meat and Blazing Chrome and it's a better game than Wayforward's Contra Galuga.

Awesome run and gun game! It can be pretty challenging but it is doable once you get the hang of it. Recommended.
