Without any information you will be thrown into the game. Looks like you must collect crytals...clean them and than fight a monster only using those crystals. The information about what the individual crystals are good for is rather sparse. The situation is completely different, however, when it comes to the number of crystals. Even in this first battle, there are 10 different ones in your bag...remember, the goal of the game is to collect 100 of them. Even with the ones you have, it was difficult to achieve anything...but that wasn't intended. Because as soon as the enemy was defeated, he reappeared...the idea was probably to lose, and thus the crystals you had already collected would be lost.
