I beat it in 7 minutes on my first try. No replay value. Barely a game.

Wait what?? The game was only 9 minutes to beat? I thought I completed the tutorial because all matches were super-easy and straightforward win. But that was it?
PROS: + graphics + UI + skills leveling CONS: - too short SHOULD BE ADDED: more bosses not to start again with all skills on level one CONCLUSION: 7/10 For this price its fun
Kingmaker Academy is a thrilling and challenging roguelike deckbuilder tournament. With simple yet engaging gameplay, it offers a rewarding experience for card battle enthusiasts. The game seamlessly combines roguelike mechanics with strategic depth, allowing players to improve their skills and customize their deck. With vibrant visuals, intuitive controls, and a captivating aesthetics, Kingmaker Academy is a must-play straightforward and exhilarating card battle adventure.
One of the best games I've played in this genre. Honestly, the game is perfect in all aspects (mechanics, graphics, UI, music, SFX), but, as others have said, it's very, very short. I finished it in only 10 minutes, and it was very easy. It's very cheap, though, so I think it's worth the price. 10/10
Mmm yeah... I was here for the artwork. Especially the males. Is it important? YES! It made me WANT to get to the higher levels so I could see that second to last person. I wasn't disappointed. Oh right gameplay... It wont make your head hurt. It's fast and eventually you'll just go into that zone where you are simply enjoying the game. What that wasn't it for you? Maybe you weren't playing it right. There are achievements too. What else do you want from me?! Let me stare at the drawn males in peace! Great, simple game and seriously... YES. Ahh... THANK YOU! :> :3 =) P.S. Thanks for fixing the Full Screen/ Non-Full Screen issue... I had to stare at other guys while playing this game. *Joy Overload*
This is a very fun game with a great concept......that will keep you occupied for about 10 minutes. Worth the $0.50 i paid for it just to experience its take on the card battler formula, which truthfully is actually really good, and if it were fleshed out it would have made for an awesome game that they could have sold as a full price release. It's not just another slay-the-spire-clone (though ofc it is somewhat, as are pretty much all card battlers, from Monster Train on down), it has its own flavor. Had the devs fleshed this out and added more to it (MUCH more), i would have gladly paid much more for it. Its upgrade system is fun, and had they fleshed it out ALOT more would have been spectacular. If the Devs are reading this, please mke a sequel, or dlc even, and expand your concepts into a full fledged game (i beat this one in 8 minutes, my first try). There's no permanent upgrades, and only 4 different cards (well, until you evolve any of the four by upgrading it 3 or 4 times, bu...
It is pretty decent game even so it really short. Subjugate(Disarm) and Drain(Attack) cards are really good. Subjugate is best card in the game though.
Great game, upgrading the cards and make differents builds is very fun. Also, the art is great, vfx and sfx are well polished 10/10
