Good collection of both AAI games. Many say the first game isn't good but I enjoyed it quite a lot except the final case that dragged on for far too long, the 2nd game is considerably better though. Both games have good music and fun characters. The new visuals are a treat btw. The improvements to the animations in the new style made it difficult to return to the old style.

First game was good. It seems that a lot of people think its a piece of shit. I personally think just because one game isn't better than the other doesn't make it awful. However, the second game was truly outstanding, and there's no denying it's way better than the first. I would easily consider the second game to have one of the greatest stories in ALL of ace attorney. Everything, from beginning to end, was extremely intriguing. I will say this about the first game however : it has one case that serves one purpose, and it's to introduce a new character (at least from what I could tell, because it didn't further the story very much). And I have to be real, it was pretty damn boring. Like there wasn't really any engagement there, it was a hassle, and at one point I sort of lost the plot because they kept piling on a bunch of information at a rapid rate at some point. Other than that, no real complaints for the first game. I would recommend buying this game on sale, but nonetheless, ...

The "Deep Space 9" to the PW Trilogy's "The Next Generation". Absolutely criminal that almost none of these events or new characters are ever referenced again.

OBJECTION! …to not buying this collection. This is peak Ace Attorney goodness right here. Getting to play as Miles Edgeworth instead of Phoenix is such a fun twist—investigating crime scenes, piecing together logic, and watching Edgeworth roast people with his sass is chef’s kiss. The updated visuals look super clean, the remastered soundtrack is awesome, and the writing is as witty and hilarious as ever. Gumshoe being his lovable self, Kay bringing so much energy, and of course Edgeworth’s dry humor—it all just works. And the fact that we finally get an official English release of Investigations 2? That alone makes this worth it. The localization feels natural, and it’s great finally experiencing the story the way it was meant to be. If you’re an Ace Attorney fan, this is a no-brainer. If you’re new—this is still an amazing ride full of twists, laughs, and “Aha!” moments. Verdict: Guilty of being awesome. 10/10
