I loved clone drone in the danger zone since its start, the "battle scar" mechanics carry very well in VR it's interesting to lose limbs this way! It has better sword handling and parrying (see bolded text on that point) than Blade & Sorcery IMO It's also very challenging with MX3 bots, though many deaths feel like bullshit, they tend to stick to animations with unclear ways to read them (mostly the guys with two weapons) and sometimes they feel glitchy so that's annoying, plus sometimes parrying make your weapon or shield crumble under the weight and the hit will go through and kill you, since you're always parrying vital strikes. That's the biggest flaw of this game. The dash mechanic is a great one, same as the power fists and their original upgrades but running would've been nice too Finally the two handed weapons, most of the time it feels like a downgrade to the base sword because even with two hands, it is slower and never gets in the position you want it to to parry c...

Sword fight with killer robots in VR!
Watch as limbs fly off from a single cut of your energy blade!
You are Blink, a teleporting robot who is the newest “looprunner” gladiator to compete in the Crashloop, a deadly roguelike tournament to the death. Die and reawaken in an endless loop, leap over lava pools, avoid turret fire, and take down waves of enemy defendroids.
Battle your fellow looprunners for a chance to fight the Captain in the Hyperdome, and claim his power for yourself! In between runs, get to know the other looprunners and learn the secrets of Crashloop. Take sides in their rivalries. Let your sword do the talking to win their favor.
Defeat other looprunners to claim their Turbofists! Shoot flames, launch shurikens, slow time, summon zombies and more! Upgrade the turbofists with power from other defeated looprunners to become unstoppable.
Swing lots of different weapons to find your favorite style. Two handed spears, a katana, an axe and shield? If you’re daring, fight with your bare metal fists!
Feel the power of voxel destruction. Learn to wield your laser sword. The Hyperdome awaits!

Clone Drone in the Hyperdome is one of the best vr melee combat games ive played in a while. The combat is really unique and really well executed. The enemies you are fighting move through motion tracking - as in their movements have been pre-recorded by a person in a motion tracking suit, which makes it feel the combat way more realistic. To kill the enemies you must chop off both of their arms/legs, cut them in half or cut into their brain processor. The weapons slice through the enemies like butter (although with the newest update, slicing has more resistance) and theres a big variety. There are 2 "gamemodes", first is the story mode, in which you are trying to kill the Captain, and Skyscrapper, an endless gamemode with randomly generated rooms which get progressively harder the further you get. 9.67/10, would search up Kata r34 to no avail again.
Clone Drone in the Hyperdome is a sequel that isn't afraid to take a risk or two, and it paid off. Being a VR-only title causes a bit of friction, but thankfully VR is more affordable to get into nowadays (even though there is a loud group whom hate the Meta/Oculus line of headsets). Pros: Solid story all the way around. The game takes the "silent protagonist" approach but does it in a way that's funny and subverts the player. I won't spoil it here, but know that when it was revealed why the character you play as doesn't speak it got a good chuckle out of me. The characters are all written in a way that makes the world feel alive. The other Looprunners add intrigue and comedy to the locker room with each run, and of course the choice of more robotic "swearing" always gets me to laugh with my favorite character being Kata. Their unique designs and personalities make them stand out and in multiple ways less robotic. The combat is smooth with minor hiccups (mostly being thanks to weap...

Very fun and satisfying combat!
this is... one of my fav vr games of all time (in lines of arena fighters) the combat is amazingly satisfying and rewarding, i tend to prefer spending a lot of my time in an endless mode hacking away at things and this game does it pretty well. it has really good enemy variety with most of them being upgraded bots with faster and more deadly attacks which is something i was quite a bit fan of. one of the things i really took issue was on some of the base game levels i couldn't tell if there was an enemy behind me (for example one of the levels that had enemies drop down) there wouldnt be much of a sound queue untill they were attacking which is basically little to no time to react in the later stages which isint too bad after a couple of runs and getting used to enemy spawns, but i would prefer if the bots had some for of footstep sound when they got closer
Knightmode shall face my Zombies
Very fun game
Coolest VR game, feels like Clone Drone in the Danger Zone has been fully realized. Very fitting game to be put into vr.
