-Players can use the new inventory system to unlock new areas and solve puzzles throughout the mansion. Be careful! Vengeful spirits do not rest quietly: be quick on your feet and you’ll prevent being attacked by them.

-Death is not the end: there are no “Game Over” screens in Dread Weight, allowing you to keep going through the story uninterrupted. Face your fears: players will be REWARDED with more story content if they encounter ghosts.

This game is a mix for me. I really enjoyed Cooking Companions, but this game seems to take a different turn in the wrong direction. In terms of the story, I played this game for 3+ hours and I still have absolutely no idea what is going on. It starts to feel like a survival game, but then I would run into every possible forced death in the main run. And when you die, there was a bunch of these "resets" that would sometimes be the same as the main run and sometimes not. I constantly felt like I was going around in circles the entire time. Now to give the game some credit, your choices do in fact matter just like in the first game. That being said, its kinda outweighed when I don't know what is even going on with said choices. I had to research the different endings to try and figure out what was going on. And after watching different tutorials, I still have no clue. I don't want to be too harsh on the game as I did have some mild enjoyment with it and I did get kinda spooked...

Loved the first game, loved Dread Weight, but I don't understand anything of what's happening. lol I just know that it's very compelling, so compelling that I don't understand the story.
