Core mechanics

• Your character always follows your cursor

• If your character and cursor touch, you will take damage

• If your character runs into a wall, you will take damage

• The character and cursor share a health pool. If they run out of health, you die

• After dying, you respawn at the start of the current room, only seconds back

• Monsters move throughout the world and will try to hurt you in unique ways

• Typically, monsters damage you by either directly hitting your cursor, or using attacks to hurt your cursor from afar

• Hitting an enemy with your character damages it, and deflects your character backwards

• As you progress, you can learn additional ways to damage monsters

• Killing monsters grants EXP, which can increase things like health, damage, and acceleration

• Choose your own level of suffering! Difficulties range from “Painkiller” to “Everything hurts
