About This Game

Beyond the limits of sanity, sometimes you need a deranged criminal to bring order and justice. Splatter and humiliate your enemies in Re-Loaded, an unhinged multidirectional shooter classic.

A psychotic supervillain with matter manipulation powers named F.U.B (Fat Ugly Boy) has escaped to the deserted planet ‘Kee-Butt-5’ where he has been looking to increase his power with body modification and implants. Through these twisted new modifications, he evolves into an even more monstrous villain named C.H.E.B (Charming Handsome Erudite Bastard). It is here that his final transformation threatens to engulf the entire planet into a nightmare reflection of himself. You play as one of a set of six former convicts who are dead set on ending this villain’s plans as brutally as possible.

Whether ripping through hordes as a disturbed diaper wearing man with a plasma gun, or perhaps as an android nun assassin, you will find a character with skills to match your playstyle. Explore the many ways to paint a room with blood and brains as you navigate the game in many various demented environments. Complete your objectives across multiple levels utilizing a variety of deadly weapons, such as cannons, lasers, and ultra bombs.

Regardless of what depraved methods you choose, C.H.E.B must die.

  • Classic multi-directional shooting gameplay.
  • Six stylish and bizarre characters to choose from.
  • Twelve varied blood-soaked levels to tear into.
  • Fully 3D environments with lots of exploration.
  • Morphing Terrain with the use of high-powered weaponry and explosives.
  • Relentless enemy hordes to maim and kill.
  • Local Multi-Player support.

While the PS1 version has better graphics and smooth gameplay. It's difficulty is f**king brutal even on easy. The PC version might have bad graphics and choppy gameplay. It's difficulty is far better then PS1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ylwTUWAznM

The original MS-Dos version, running perfectly in dosbox with the full soundtrack. What more could you want?

The game feels a lot different, new sounds, new effects and also visual clarity. Issues I have that would make it a lot better if they were adjusted: - The flames are a nice visual, however, some parts from the ps1 disc used lasers than flame throwers. Bringing this back would be great. - Music are either set at the wrong missions or do not exist in the game. E.g. after the foundry mission, the music does not match to the ps1 version. 2 music (Vanish and Assembly) we're not present in the game. - Some enemies are either too easy or too difficult. The ship part does not feel like a boss fight at all and took a few seconds to finish. Also took out the parts where the turrets used to be dodgeable, now it tracks at the player. - Camera cannot be adjusted as well as controls does not feel correct. Plus the setting is a bit annoying to set. Other than these, it's amazing, but the thing that made my not recommend it is due to these issues.

I'm happy to see this game available digitally. The DOS version is supposedly easier than the PS1 version, but it's still very difficult. You get 5 continues to beat the entire game, after which you get a game over. There are cheats if you get stuck, but it's a very difficult and finicky feeling game. The controls are imprecise and sometimes you will die due to enemies being offcenter when shooting you and there being no true analog aiming. The foundry in particular is pretty brutal in this regard. The story also basically doesn't exist and the ending is just... bizarre... and you never see your character again in the ending cinematic. This version of the game does include controller support and it works ok on my 21:9 monitor, although there's no window options. As a game in a vacuum, I would consider this lacking. If it was available I would recommend the original Loaded over this title. The thumbs up is because of the quality of the release (controller support, configured for modern...
