About This Game

Frontera is a fantasy city builder and colony sim where you start with a small camp at the edge of a dark island. Build up a settlement and economy to both fulfill your unit's wants and gear them up to fight their way across the island!

Establish production chains from gathering raw resources to refining them into tools, weapons, and amenities.

Store and bring products to the markets, where settlers will make purchases based on their needs and desires. Collect income from these purchases and housing. Settlers will purchase new tools on their own to increase their work productivity,

Use your collected funds to attract more settlers and license technology from the guilds. Build and upgrade guild outposts to train your units to be more efficient at production.

Raise an army to establish and defend outposts that will grant passive resource generation. Engage monsters and watch as your units fight automatically! Reinforce fights as they happen in real time!

Make your way to deal with the source of the islands monster infestation, after which the island will be secured!

It is pretty silly how many people you need for everything, but other then it seems okay so far. Not much to build or do but its a start. Not sure if this game is going anywhere, the forum seems pretty dead to me but the dev seem to be active so that is a good sign. 21.03.2024 I tried the game again and managed to do everything you can do in this game. By making troops first and worry about people later i was able to do the two fights that are in the game. After that the same thing that happend in my first game ended up happening again. Production cant keep up with consumption and the sliders seem to do nothing. You get more people to produce more goods that need more people that need more goods. The tool production building do not work properly and once weapon consumption is enabled you wont be able to get any more soldiers. At the moment this is more or less a two hour game that needs allot of work. 28.08.2025 So i tried the game again and it has had allot of work done to it...

Well, it's a game. I'll give this one a year and if it turns out not to be vaporware, I'll update the review.

Seems like it will be a fun game once it's fleshed out! It has good bones now but pretty shallow
