This is genuinely one of if not my favorite game. It's so fun to see the storyline unleash, make decisions ect. The fact a SINGLE decision can change the ENTIRE storyline is actually crazy. I've been trying to get every achievement in this game for a while but i end up finishing the game normally 😂😂 It's just so fun and enjoyable i cant get over it! i bought this game around 2023 and i do NOT regret it, it was worth EVERY dollar. IF you want a 2d decision making game, this is for sure your go to! It also has endless mode which is INCREDIBLY fun for skilled players, and even normal players but storymode is just so... wow. i love 2d games. Recommended!

About the Game
Congratulations. The October labor lottery is complete. Your name was pulled.
For immediate placement, report to the Ministry of Admission at Grestin Border Checkpoint.
An apartment will be provided for you and your family in East Grestin. Expect a Class-8 dwelling.
Glory to Arstotzka
The communist state of Arstotzka has just ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin.
Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists.
Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.

Nice music and art! Love the variety of endings and story lines. Tons of fun to play!
If you grew up in a part of the world where Soviet-style apartment blocks were common, this feels is a love letter to that atmosphere: grey on grey, concrete everywhere, a playground of steel frames with washed-out colors. Or maybe your parents used to go to vacation to a Slavic country. You arrived at the border at night or early morning: depressing architecture, men with guns. Even your stuffed animal lost color here. Relive your childhood depression. Absolute classic. Glory to Arstotzka.
Paper's Please is an excellent puzzle game that excels at teaching skills like stress management. After playing Pope's other game, I became a fan of the different styles he uses for game development. Paper's Please is a simple, yet effective puzzle game. All you need to do is follow your instructions carefully. Manage your time and resources to make each day count. Though, there are some distractions here and there that will make you question the morality of your decision making. All of it together makes for a somewhat stressful experience that takes you through the story of the Grestin border checkpoint. This story is worth a play-through by itself. There isn't much else to say about Paper's Please. It's designed incredibly well and other indie games have sought to expand on the formula. It's not hard to see why this game took off. It's fun and memorable. Not long, but not short either, taking just enough time to get everything across to you exactly the way it needs. There is plen...
when did the UK government get a game made about them?. jokes aside this is a short MASTERPIECE that i highly recommend to anyone who hasn't played it yet the game is addicting and can test your morality. GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA
Really fun and challenging game with an elaborate plot. I really cool game
Glory to Arstotzka! i'll never understand how a pixel-art game with such a simple concept ends up being so much fun despite being pretty stressful, depressing, and pushing you to make difficult choices give you a crisis of morality so many times. can't recommend it enough!
this game is so much better and challenging than i thought it would be!! i love everything about this game
Got addicted to this game easily... realized working from 6 to 6 was a bit dratful in the beginning though. Nice design of different consequences. I do expect more contents about the Pink Vice.. :D))
An amazing game, I HIGHLY recommend it. The controls are easy to understand, and the game starts easy but has a very natural progression and increase in difficulty. It never feels too overwhelming, the increase is very gradual. The game also has lots of replay value: multiple endings, plenty of achievements, as well as an endless mode with multiple options of play. As for the story, this game does a great job of showing off the world, its story, and the culture without too much information. There's no massive cut scenes or dialogue, and everything can be understood without the need to look at third-party content or analyze anything. You get to change the story in certain ways based on your actions, but you also have consequences for them. You may find yourself sticking to the rules directly, never straying from them- other times, you'll feel a moral obligation to make a choice that doesn't align with what your communist overlords want. Somehow, this game is able to make you care abo...
