The Chef's Shift

Pretty fun game, straight forward and gradually increases in difficulty instead of throwing you to the wolves. Sometimes its hard to decipher which recipe you need in later levels due to the graphics being so similar but I think that's what adds to the difficulty. Was able to 100% it with all achievements in under 24 hours. Overall fun typing game, 10/10, would recommend.

Found this game because I had an itch for old typing games I used to play as a kid and just happened upon it. The story is silly and the art is super cute. The game itself is super fun and definitely a challenge on the harder levels. All the themes are really well done and I genuinely enjoyed it. Played through normal mode all in one night with out even noticing because I was just having a blast. It was so surprisingly entertaining and its unique game play was a good time. 10/10 recommend.

I picked this game up as a neat typing game with diner dash gameplay, stayed for the surprisingly deep story where everyone has a gun for some reason. Typing through a mafia story is a ridiculous thing to do yet interesting at the same time.

This game is a wonderful cross between a diner dash-style restaurant sim and a typing cooker with the same state of panic that the Cook! Serve! Delicious series elicits. I appreciate being able to play the entire first chapter of the game for free before committing to the full version, and the price is very reasonable for what ended up being about 15 hours of content for 100% of achievements. There is a fair amount of challenge to get through the campaign on the hardest difficulty. I would’ve purchased if there were no story behind it and enjoyed my time, but the extensive lore makes this game a telenovela-like experience with endless plot twists. The best part? My binging of this in less than a week resulted in a ~10 WPM increase in my typing speed.
