About This Game

Shadow Saboteur is an exciting 2D side-scrolling adventure game where players take on the role of Robin Hood, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. Players must avoid the sight of enemy soldiers and steal money, then secretly distribute it to the poor. The game features many levels, including money stealing and money giving levels, where players mustnot be detected in order to succeed.

In Shadow Saboteur, players must complete a variety of challenging levels. These levels include sneaking into towns and castles to find vaults, stealing gems and jewelry, ambushing guards and staying stealthy, and many other exciting tasks. Each level is designed very cleverly, and players must use their skills and resources to successfully complete the tasks.

The game's visual effects are excellent, with a beautiful pixel art style and vivid colors that make the game enjoyable to play. The background music and sound effects are also great, immersing players in the medieval atmosphere and further enhancing the game's overall experience.

As a stealth game, Shadow Saboteur is filled with tense and exciting moments. Players must act when the guards are not paying attention, steal treasures, and take them to the designated location. At the same time, players must also be aware of obstacles and traps to avoid detection and failure.

The game's controls are very simple, with players only needing to use the arrow keys and spacebar to move and jump. This easy-to-learn control scheme allows even beginners to quickly get into the game and enjoy the fun.

In summary, Shadow Saboteur is an excellent 2D side-scrolling adventure game. Its beautiful visual effects, exciting gameplay, and easy-to-learn controls make it a game that is definitely worth experiencing.

Not Recommended

Not a game for 21st century. Early 1990s, maybe. I love stealth games. Their appeal is freedom of movement and challenge to playeŕ´s creativity, something Shadow Saboteur sorely lacks. Main problem is that once you finish the first level (or rather "room"), you saw everything there is to see about this game. There is no evolution, no new gaming mechanisms to discover, no new strategy to explore. Robin Hood can only walk, can´t fight guards, create distractions or run, nothing we take granted in real stealth games. There´s no story, no humour, Guards move in random patterns, which is nice, but it only means that they often clog the corridor you need to access, causing game over. Smaller issues with this game is unreliable collision detection, making you stuck, and slow movement of everyone, which together with time limit for each room is just frustrating. I just finished it, and I´m deleting it.
