This game immediately forces you to either sign in to your 2k account or create one. No joke, no way around this! Game has a few loading screens then puts you in a black screen with a qr code or a url link to the 2k website with a 30 minute timer. I literally waited out the 30 minute timer only to be prompted to do the entire process again!

a big step up from 23. the new swing tech is pretty cool, making it challenging in bad lies, do i wish there was a separate currency for experience that you can use to pay for upgrades, yes, but, its not something that is too negative, just more of a desire.

Should've kept 3-click for ranked or had a separate ranked for 3-click only. Swing stick is the absolute worst and the fact that I have to focus on forgiveness is the dumbest possible thing. If I didnt have to focus on forgiveness and could focus on other areas it wouldnt be so bad but I literally cannot beat even the CPU on myCareer without dropping their skill down. Other than that, the game runs great other than certain points, it stutters once in a while but nothing major. Community is still a dumpster fire online.

There's enough complaints about the pay-to-win model complete with loot boxes, season passes, microtransactions and the aggressive price point for the base game, so let's focus on the actual game and see if taking out a HELOC to buy the game is worth it. Short answer: No. Long answer: This is what you get when you take a developmentally disabled child to the American Legion and you hand them a pile of quarters and hope they remain distracted by the arcade golf machine long enough for Dad to win groceries for the week throwing rip tickets into the Fishbowl while the mother unironically goes through pitcher after pitcher of Michelob Ultra and some jerk keeps playing "BoB - I've Got the Magic In Me" on the jukebox over and over again. That child grows up in the "you can accomplish anything you put your mind to" era and gets a job at a game development company thanks to the resume-writing skills of his social worker and EoE requirements. If this game was a Watch, it'd be a Richard Mill...
