Full Quiet is a brilliantly crafted Metroidvania, blending a gripping story with intuitive, rewarding gameplay. Its brutal challenge is matched by polished design and a world that unfolds with satisfying depth. A true hidden gem.

Ambitious, polished, and unique. Great setting, I really enjoyed exploring the game's vast wilderness and finding all the different locations. That being said, the environment's labyrinthine layout, paired with the sometimes excessively cryptic nature of the puzzles, did get a bit overwhelming at times. I kind of wish the game was a bit more . . . concise? But the gameplay and atmosphere kept me hooked for the full 26 hours it took for me to finish it.

This game was a lot of fun! There's a whole wilderness for the player to explore and slowly conquer as they gain new weapons and master the layout of the gameworld. I liked the atmosphere of the game; it's a vast, profound loneliness! The mysteries and puzzle-solving were pretty cool. The NES limits held back some aspects of the game– like enemies respawning whenever the player went to another room or even peered through a scope– but its a comparatively breezy game. The combat challenge was fair and it was satisfying to uncover this realm's secrets. This is a game one can really get lost in!
