After Heroes of Might and Magic, nothing was as good in the genre of turn-based games as this game (except Divinity: Original Sin) I really liked the characters, the plot and the gameplay. Interesting system of survival and interesting imba-person (if you find who is it). A very worthy and noteworthy representative of turn-based games. Do not pass by!

Great game with astounding visual style, authentic music and interesting and unique tactical fights (tho tactical part isn't perfect) based on northern/scandinavian myths. Even tho I have a very limited knowledge about those myths (thx to newest parts of GoW and Neil Gaiman's American gods) I enjoyed being a part of it. The game is split in 2 notable parts - that are influencing each other with resource management part. The Visual Novel part is about your journey, you travel and each day (or once in a while some activity triggers, which leads to a short text-based quests or series of choices, where the outcomes are rather unknown, from gaining more supplies to getting your party members killed. As you travel on foot to some distant places, your men need to be well-rested to be prepare to fight (which grants more willpower, depends on current caravan motivation), and have enough food to travel between towns and other places. The problem is that you don't really know the distance betw...
This is the game that brought me back to video games as an adult. Beautiful serene mostly 2D animation was a standout.
The Saga Begins...
A turn-based strategy game with a huge story spanning 3 titles. Its unique art style and soundtrack managed to captivate me throughout the series. Each choice you make will carryover to the next game and it's consequences or rewards will follow suit. For example, sometimes you want certain characters to team up with you, or even survive an encounter, but that can't always be the case here. Be very careful, even the smallest pebble rolling downhill can cause an avalanche, and other phrases of that kind of pretentious caliber. 8/10. It's rather difficult and slow, but worth it for the story.
An incredible experience. What a journey. There are 3 games but one story. Gameplay is simple and refined. There's no fluff, just strong tactical combat, tough decisions, memorable characters, and incredible storytelling. This game deserves 100x the attention it gets. Masterpiece.
The story is really good!
A relaxing and fun adventure with a nice bit of tactical depth
Great story. Great Characters. Great combat system. 10/10
Great game for Viking fans.
