Should probably buy it before you have to pirate it, got a feeling the Visa/Mastercard assholes will target this game specifically next, also RIP itch.io.

Sort of sucks that this game is just the incest game to a lot of people, story is really good. There is incest though

Yes, I am going to actually try and make a serious review of this game. This game is staunchly overhated for an aspect the game dissects and portrays many, many times as wrong, toxic, abusive, and disgusting. I hate how one aspect that the game literally tries to show is bad overshadows the analytical core of this game. At its core, this game analyzes and dissects how bad parenting and a bad home life can lead to worse outcomes, and I wish more people knew that. little edit -- I WANT ANDREW CARNALLY MMMMM HE DON'T NEED FIXING

i think media literacy is absolutely dead cuz this game is so far from promoting or romanticizing incest😭 gut wrenching and heart breaking story, some of the endings have made me feel sick and despite that i love this game, its fun to play, funny when it needs to be, and shows the horrendous aspects of childhood abuse, neglect, and that further ruining your adult life. andrew and ashley's codependency is well written, their relationship is far from desirable and its very sad

Yep, it contains incest. There's also hours of really well written dialogue, characters, and relationships that twist and turn from just simply codependent to some of the most rancid toxic interactions that are somehow still believable. Every character has unique flaws that are tee'd up in the numerous flashbacks and visions, and lead towards their inevitable downfalls caused by the player's choices or natural game progression. There's also incest. At no point does the relationship between Andrew and Ashley ever seem like it was ever healthy, and Nemlei portrays both of the siblings acting in abhorrent ways, emotionally or physically abusing each other, and all of that toxicity and vitriol culminates in the most brutal, in your face depiction of why nothing about either of the siblings are anything to be desired. But yes, there's incest, because of that theme, the state of the game hangs in the balance, as censorship and fearmongering push ever so closer for adult games to be either...

Yes it is great, yes it has incest, but it's a lot more than that. Please buy it before visa and mastercard try to ban and control what you can play entirely and take away YOUR media.

Started playing because of the controversial reviews, stayed for the intriguing story and the cool atmosphere. Turns out the game is way more interesting than I expected - honestly, it kinda blew me away

10/10 would recommend this game to my brother if I had one. Played this game over a year ago when it released it's first chapters and never left a review. Jumped back in to play chapter 3 today and remembered why I loved this game. Does it involve cannibalism, Yes. Does it involve satanic cults, Yes. Does it involve incest, also Yes. But I can't help but love these two main characters. This game is dark and hilarious, with a gorgeous art style and cozy but creepy puzzles. There is a reason why the people who have actually played it have rated it Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam despite the hate it gets online. It really is just known as that Incest game on Twitter but this psychological horror is so much more. I still have hours of gameplay left to get all the endings (which I will do) A bit of IRL lore for anyone joining this game after it's initial popular release: The author of this game was unfortunately doxxed and received numerous threats resulting in her selling the game ...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (with a content warning) This game. Woof. Where do I even start? The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is not an easy ride. I had to take quite a few breaks just to make it through. Not because it’s poorly made, quite the opposite, but rather, because it cuts close to the bone. This is a story of emotional rot, trauma bonds, and the grotesque transformation of unhealed attachment wounds. While Ashley’s dialogue options were, admittedly, my least favorite part of the gameplay (she’s a freaking ditz), the writing as a whole does a disturbingly effective job at illustrating the psychological tug-of-war between an anxious-leaning codependent and an avoidant-leaning codependent. It’s not pretty. It’s not clean. And that’s exactly what makes it powerful. The elements that hit hardest were the mother: a controlling, narcissistic figure saturated in martyrdom—and the father, whose emotional absence is deafening. The eldest child is crushed under generat...
