About This Game

The Final Cut is the remastered special edition of Dreamfall Chapters — an award-winning adventure spanning multiple worlds and playable characters. The Final Cut combines all five episodes into one story, with reworked character designs, an expanded soundtrack, remastered audio and new dialogue, improved art, lighting and animations, and new special features.

Dreamfall Chapters is a stand-alone story in The Longest Journey saga; a narrative third-person 3D adventure set in the twin worlds of science and magic. Embark on an amazing and emotional journey across Stark and Arcadia in a setting that mixes dystopian cyberpunk sci-fi with magical fantasy. Play as Zoë Castillo, a young woman seeking answers to her own identity; Kian Alvane, a disgraced Apostle and assassin seeking redemption; and Saga, a mysterious child trapped in a house between worlds. Experience an engaging story about choices and consequences, dreams and reality, magic and science, chaos and order, and the three people whose actions will shape the course of history — in all worlds.

This game is amazing, it didn't get the recognition it deserves. Truly amazing story writing and i'm reviewing it without seeing the other games yet and just going off by what was written in the journal. This game had me and my friend sit in silence after the ending in awe. I wholeheartedly recommend it and sincerely thank my colleague for suggesting me such a masterpiece...and many other bangers That-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, if you're reading this; you rock dude, great taste, and will miss your recommendations.

1999 The Longest Journey(and to a lesser degree, 2006 Dreamfall) holds a special place in my heart. There's something about an melancholic art student getting lost in a futuristic city that's appealing to me. Two sequels down some magic was certainly lost, but it's comforting to see the story completed.

I love walking sims and a great story and the story is very interesting, but the waking park just kills me. Walking at like 1 mph and running is like 3 mph. Reaching destinations took so long I just couldn't bare it. At the very least put a running toggle. Nope. If I'm not having fun then I'll drop it and move to the next and that's what I did.
If you don't mind moving very slow then buy it. I do which is why I gave it a "NO"
