This is one of the best stealth games that I've played in a good while. Unlike many other stealth titles, you do not kill any one and your main goal is get past certain areas by sticking to the shadows and utilising tools like the blow pipe (sleep) to incapacitate Hanna's pursuers. Unlike some stealth games, if you're ever spotted it is immediately game over and there is no running away and retreating to the shadows to wait for pursuers to lose aggro. Also, if patrols discover incapacitated enemies that is also an immediate game over. I think here, the game assumes that the whole place goes on high alert and Hanna and her crew will eventually get captured. So be sure to hide bodies once you've incapacitated them. Later you will eventually be able to control up to three characters, all of which have their own unique skills that will need to be used in conjunction with another to get past certain obstacles. Each obstacle is like a puzzle that often has really one solution, which...

One of my best gaming experiences so far this year. A lovingly designed world with lots of little details, a great story woven into a puzzle stealth game with simple but effective mechanics. Well-written characters, a beautiful story, and a wonderful soundtrack round off the experience perfectly for me. It's a shame that such a game is going under, as it deserves more attention. A good 15 hours of gameplay, a fair checkpoint system, and puzzles that are sometimes easy and sometimes difficult gave me great pleasure. Finally, I would also like to emphasize that the voice actors did a great job of bringing the individual characters to life.
This game is so much fun. The music, the story and the game-play is super fun! The only downside is that this game is a bit short. I would love to enjoy a bit more of it!
This game is fire. Great storyline and beautiful graphics. Really enjoyed playing this game!
Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream takes the isometric real-time stealth formula from games like Mimimi Productions' (RIP...) Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, but boils it down to its essence in order to focus on storytelling rather than freeform sneaking. Your toolset is limited and there is, as far as I can tell, only ever one solution to an obstacle rather than multiple possibilities, but all of that doesn't matter when the thing that Eriksholm focuses on is done so well. The voice acting is stellar across the board, the cutscenes look genuinely impressive, and the overall story is a deeply satisfying fantasy story, set in an Industrial Revolution-era city state suffering from plague and a variety of political intrigues and machinations. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this world, from start to finish. If you're ever in the mood for a linear, story-driven stealth game, Eriksholm is definitely one for you! I'd heartily recommend it.
Loved the characters, the story, the environment, everything! I haven't played many puzzle or stealth games, but this was such a great experience and I had tons of fun :) 10/10 would recommend!
The storyline is crafted beautifully. The art is amazing. The gameplay is interesting and unique. Every gamer needs to try Eriksholm!!!
This is a very nice game. 8/10 for me. As i have gotten older, I prefer a much more relaxed setting, not overly dramatic... I'll just leave a note here to say if you like RTT/RTS or Turn-Based top down-ish or general sneaky stealthy types like; 63 Days War Mongrels Commandos Desperados Shadow Tactics Invisible Inc Last Train Home Lamplighters League Partisans 1941 Styx Etc... Then you'll most likely like this, as long as you prefer more sensible gaming and enjoy figuring out how to stay unseen. The demo is fine but it doesn't have a lot of the games actual features like breaking lights, swimming, having 3 characters at once etc. Some segments are a nice challenge and level variation is really well done. This gives me hope that some game makers are learning that constant violence and the overly dramatic isn't always needed and I appreciate the level of detail in the game world. It's a little pricey and i would like to see this on GOG like most other types of games like this....
This is an outstanding game. One of my favorites over many years of gaming. As a Christian gamer, I really appreciated a well-thought out beautiful game with no swearing or other vulgar materials. Might not be very important to others, but is to me and my family. The only thing I didn't like is that it had to come to an end. Wonderful job and congrats to all for this magnificent effort.
Eriksholm is not the incredible masterpiece in the isometric stealth based games genre I hoped for after playing the demo back in June. It does not introduce new original ideas, the gameplay is rather basic and the story interesting but nothing worth to write home about. Nonetheless it is probably the most beautiful isometric game I have ever experienced, locations are all incredibly detailed and believable, furthermore the obsessive attention to detail is indeed palpable. Voice acting and music are also excellent, as they particurarly detail every moment, setpiece and change of pace in a brilliant way, adding a lot of flavour to the whole package. This is an easily recommendable title for some novice player that needs to be introduced to the specific mechanics of more complex and difficult games in this specific category, like Commandos and Desperados. As someone who plays these kind of game since 1998, I liked it a lot anyway, because I understood its target audience and the kind of...
