Arkem connects the real-time strategy of city-building games with the adventures of RPGs. Construct your own castle, build and manage your village in a medieval world. Collect resources and be prepared for potential raids! Defend and protect your citizens by gearing up your followers with weapons and commanding your troops to protect what you have established. Explore the open world and meet various characters to work with them. You may meet friends as well as enemies who get you involved in interesting quests and big challenges. Your followers depend on you!


Start with simple buildings and expand your castle to a powerful fortress with time: A symbol of your dominion, a useful defense against enemies, but also just your home. Make use of the land-provided resources and unlock new structures. Use modular building blocks that help you create the castle of your dreams seamlessly.



ARKEM is a genre-mix of strategic building and classic role-play elements. You play the role of a lord who commands the building of his castle as well as the defense of his property in massive battles. Help protect your castle from enemies or trust this task to your servants and go on a trip. You can explore the area by foot or by horse - but be aware of the consequences leaving your castle alone may have.
Your tasks vary a lot: Plan the construction of your castle, allocate resources, and command your troops. Establish advantages by having good diplomatic relations with surrounding villages and cities where you can also complete quests.
The construction mode and first-person mode can be switched seamlessly and depend on each other!



Arkem offers an alternative reality that roughly follows the historical events between 950 and 1300 AD such as the Viking attacks or the first Crusades which you may have to experience - so be prepared. Where do you want your castle to be? Several maps offer you a variety of locations from the Italian Alps to an island in the high north.
