Well this game has me intrigued. The voice acting is solid and the gameplay does the job. There are a few issues tho. They could stand to fix the action button (E) coz sometimes it doesn't work. Also I think the cutscenes should be skippable after the first time. Wen you have to repeatedly retry a mission watchin' the same cutscene over and over can be irritatin'. Besides all of that, ya have a solid game here to build upon for further iterations. Recommended. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/0c8V0i6X3es

About This Game
Lore: Curse Of The Elemental is the first installment of the Lore game series. Adventure, horror, action, and mystery lie ahead.
This game was inspired by Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones, and The Mummy and is sure to surprise all newcomers as it makes its own unique footprint in the adventure genre.
This short adventure involves mystery, puzzle solving, third person perspective, shotgun shooting, jump scares, and many cinematic cutscenes.
The location is based off of a real location in Ireland that is said to be actually haunted. My wife and I visited in 2019 and were greatly inspired by our experience there. All purchases of this game will be used to finance our next game Lore: The Secret Order.
Before playing the game I recommend to visit the "options" menu and select the optimize option. This should configure the game to match your system.
Please enjoy my first game! :D

I had a fun time, so like I can't say this game was bad, but like, it's kinda asking for too much for being such a short unoptimized game. Like I beat it in less than an hour, but it's not like I 1st tried everything, there's a few fights that took me multiple tries, and there's a non-skippable cutscene before all of them so not like they went fast. There's not a ton going on either, you explore the castle, but like, it's maybe 4 rooms big with not much going on in it to look at really. There's not a ton of lore either, it's just kinda eh, not super fleshed out or anything. Plot of the game itself is fine though, not amazing, but like it's entertaining. Game also will be low frame rate and stutter a lot. Also whatever method they're using to despawn and respawn things outside of camera view is too slow cause you'll see clear to the outside of the castle for a couple moments when you turn around. if you get stuck anywhere, you missed a random e button prompt on something, sometimes it's...
This indie game really grew on me as I played it... it has good atmosphere and some cool horror elements that reminded me of Clock Tower, NightCry and Remothered: Tormented Fathers (I realize those last two have mixed reviews but I enjoyed them quite a bit so consider that comparison a positive). The developer is pretty much a one-man team but they seem committed to making the game better and have already released several patches and a secret level (which I haven't yet unlocked). The biggest caveat is that it is a short experience- my playthrough was only 2 hours, and a good chunk of that was the final boss fight- but as long as you can accept that and remember that this isn't a AAA title I think you'll have a good time. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel teased in the credits.
Waste of money - sorry I purchased it. Very glitchy game and hard to control with the characters not responding well. The characters keeps getting stuck and I have to quit and resume. When you quit, it doesn't save right there...it backs you way up to a point where you have to do things over again. The brightness changes at will....goes so dark you can't see around the room and then goes bright on its own. (My computer is way above the minimum requirements so its not my computer.)
This game has a great concept and seems like it will be really fun. I tried 4 times and the girl got stuck ok the stairs 4 times in a row as soon as she got glowstick from the old man. Preventing me from progressing the story. Update! Developer adjusted the settings and guided me on how to help fix the error. Now the game is working like a champ! I can't wait to see whats next!
Cool indie game and clearly a labor of love. Even though it has some minor issues, it's definitely worth the asking price. A solid installment considering it's the first part of a series.
