Right now - if you expect to play this in English, don't buy it. Despite the devs claiming to have fixed the translation its still garbage, and maybe even worse than before. For example, during character creation you have to allocate points to different weapon skills and, for some reason, 软鞭, 扇法, 暗器 all got translated to "Fan" (as in fan techniques). From the three of them - one is a whip, another is hidden weapons and one is actually fans. This is game-breakingly bad. But something that bothers me even more are the names. Who decided that changing the names of the NPCs or the randomized ones during character creation into "John Clark" or "Miller Mathew" was a good idea? In a wuxia setting! This is so ridiculus its hard to believe. Wait for a proper translation.

i could ignore the awful translation of the dialogue & random characters' names if the fundamental game mechanics were legible

Remove 'English' from the supported languages on steam. Yes, even after the "Translation Patch", the game is downright unplayable in english. Trust me. It is not worth buying if you don't speak chinese.

This games mechanics during combat is solid, the story from the gist of what I have played through so far is definitely unique to say the least to an extent. There has been no mishaps quite large enough to affect my satisfaction with the game so far and I know it'll only get better over time. Nourish this game well devs cause it certainly has a high potential from what I've seen and played through. Several things would bring more people in to getting this game would be having stuff translated properly it will take time but if it's done I'd definitely see people's opinion change. Another thing that I've noticed some of the mechanics with menu's and interactions are a bit off. Sorting in particular with the manuals seems a bit buggy as it doesn't quite sort the manual at all. The naming scheme of character's I understand that having English translations even just a bit throughout the game helps but it definitely affects the immersion, like seeing someone named WilliamGarcia in this parti...

Good story telling, easy to pick up, allow variety of play-style. Narrow story-line, skill sets, job-trades and maps not optimized, looking forward for patches and DLC.

OOF a game with so much potential but wow that translation is impossible to follow not only that but you can VERY easily softlock yourself into a fight way to hard for you and if you dont have a same before that? TO BAD your save is now useless. to many attacks knock enemies back and the game play devolves into knocking your enemy across the map, then then trying and praying you turn around in time to attack the enemy again before they get to the wall. all in all not at all worth the money right now, get matchless kungfu instead. if the game was like 5 or 10 bucks i would have kept it but it just isn't worth 17

Please Please Please fix the horrible English translation and most of all change the NPC names back to Chinese because having random NPC names like HarrisonKaren is immersion breaking and I had to stop playing because of the bad English names. Thank you
