About This Game

The Gameplay:
If Solitaire was a RPG, you would have Fourteen fiends.
the object of the game is simple, defeat all the Fiend cards before you run out of Hero cards.
At the start of each game you will be given 20 Hero cards, you must use these hero cards to defeat the 14 fiend cards.
as you defeat fiends you will earn loot which can be equipped and exchanged between your active heroes in-between each battle round.
your heroes stats will determine if they can win or lose a battle, if your hero is a even match to a fiend you will need to duel each other.
each play session takes about 5-8 minutes.

Learn the Lore!
there are 55 unlockable endings, each time you win a round you will unlock a new ending.

Play styles!
if you play enough rounds you will unlock extra game modes which will include larger hero and fiend decks!

if you equip your heroes well then victory is certainly assured, equip them badly and you will face a most unpleasant end...GOOD LUCK!

The Story:
100 years ago chaos ran rampant.
monsters plagued the land in untold numbers, they tormented the people of the realm.
so the eight Alchemy Mages gathered at Mayhem Mountain and there they forged the legendary HEAVY Sword and bestowed it to Treadzar, the strongest warrior ever to live. wielding the HEAVY Sword Treadzar vanquished all the monsters of the world, and through the alchemical magic of the HEAVY Sword their dark souls were locked deep within the bowels of Mayhem Mountain...

That is, until now, a fissure has ripped in the gate which locked the monsters below, and now they have begun to slip back out into the world.
and thus the call has gone out, all the heroes of the land must gather together and seal the fiends away once again...

What a fun and addictive game! It's very replayable with lots of fast-paced card-battling action. The character art is INCREDIBLE and reminds me of the comics I grew up with in the '90s. The music is so catchy and I love the Vocaloid theme song! I also keep finding so many funny references to other games (Big money! Big prizes! I love it!) This game is definitely worth checking out!

My Experience In general, I had a pretty good time with Fourteen Fiends. I thought the varied hero cards (and accompanying voiceovers) were amusing, and mostly found the loot (that is earned and purchased) to be exciting. From time to time, you'll receive a global upgrade card that improves a stat for all of your heroes, and these feel fantastic to find. Each hero also has an ability that can be used once (some of which are very creative), and can be sent out to explore and find loot. However, upon failing this exploration action you will lose your hero, which can be a high cost. I played enough to unlock two longer game modes, completed a number of levels within "Doug's Deadly Dungeon," and tried the "Doom Moon mode" 2-3 times (after I learned about it from reading a forum post by developer Ash Jackson). Unfortunately, there were a number of gripes that I had with the experience:

The menu music is obnoxious and there is no way to adjust the volume, so prepa...

Awesome game! It is really fun and the difficulty is high, giving it a lot of replay value. It takes a little while to master but then you can spend a lot of time honing your skills. The amount of characters and attribute cards is amazing. The artwork is great. I really like this game and look forward to seeing more!

If you're a fan of strategic gameplay and love collecting cards, then this card battler game is definitely for you! This game is a perfect combination of card collection, deck building, and tactical combat. It is very easy to pick up and play but has enough depth to encourage replays to improve your strategy. The hand-drawn artwork in this game is awesome, from the unique and varied card designs to the incredibly detailed backgrounds and interfaces. The music is fantastic and perfectly suits the action in the game. Each card has its own strengths and weaknesses that can be augmented with skills and loot, so each round requires careful consideration and strategic thinking. Overall I really enjoy Fourteen Fiends for its fun, quick gameplay and the potential for deeper strategy from different combinations of cards. Highly recommended!

Fun interface... Easy to learn... Will take a very long time to get all 55 endings. ^-^ Apparently beating 5k+ Solitaire levels doesn't make me a pro at this game. I will also have to become a master to attempt hard mode... So I can know what it feels like to be a "BEST BOI"! Like they said... Good luck! Oh and... Have fun. Heh heh.

Fourteen Fiends! I played this new game and enjoyed the fast paced, card game style RPG almost?? I think its pretty cool that the game "helps" you by allowing you to know which of your cards may win the battle vs an enemy, but the system also allows you to do your own strategy, by using item cards you acquire throughout battles and purchasing from the merchant, a very greedy man indeed. I like it when I am completely lost in the game by just testing it out on the first run, I prefer learning by trial and error, and this game takes about two tries til you are getting the hang of the mechanics and beginning to create strategies of your own, of course there are some flaws, like the merchant being greedy and perhaps a little "math", but i think that is positive since nowadays too many game hold your hands, anyways... I like Fourteen Fiends, price is right, which VERY COOL indeed, I'll give it 7.8/10

This game has original, awesome Art design and a fun concept combining interactivity and card games, skill and luck. I will definitely be playing more to get better at the mechanic and die less! The humor is a bonus, and I personally love the character drawings and facial expressions. Looking forward to unlocking the whole map!
