This game was ahead of its time! Feels nostalgic playing it and I have no complaints AFTER I fixed the crashing every 30 minutes. Here’s how you’d do it: 1. In Steam → Right-click Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist. 2. Select Properties. 3. In Launch Options, type: -offline -offline_mode Hope this helps!

About This Game
OPERATE WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS
Sam is back in his tactical suit and goggles, more lethal and agile than ever. Granted the freedom to do whatever it takes to stop the Blacklist, he races across the globe to uncover the source of this devastating threat.
OWN YOUR PLAYSTYLE
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist builds on the franchise’s stealth roots while expanding into action and adventure. Players can define their own playstyle and are rewarded accordingly:
- Ghost players remain undetected.
- Assault players confront threats head-on.
- Panther players strike silently and lethally with precision.
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Take down the Engineers using advanced gadgets like the upgraded Snake Cam and the Micro-trirotor Drone. Fan favorites return, including the Sticky Shocker and the brutal curved Karambit knife. Stealth enthusiasts can abduct and carry enemies, while the Killing in Motion system lets players mark and execute multiple targets in one fluid, cinematic move.
BUILD A NEW ECHELON
Sam is forming a new Echelon unit: his team, his rules. Anna “Grim” Grímsdóttir returns as technical operations manager, CIA operative Isaac Briggs brings firepower, and hacker Charlie Cole rounds out the crew. Fourth Echelon operates from the Paladin, a repurposed stealth airliner equipped with unlimited resources and cutting-edge tech.

Stop Killing Games. Another good old game that has tons of features broken because they shut down the servers. It even crashes after 30 minutes unless you run it in offline mode which is not something everyone knows how to do. This kind of nonsense could've easily been patched out in probably less than a day if ubisoft even pretended to care about what they made.
The game is good and works perfectly on the Steam Deck but Uplay asks me to enter a password every time I launch a game. There is no way to bypass this on the Steam Deck (legally). I refuse to buy games from Ubisoft as long as this shitty software exists. Imagine that you have to download a cracked EXE file to be able to play a game that you legally purchased. When did you finally go bankrupt, Ubisoft?
this is my favorite game of all time and its a fucking dumpster fire now. unplayable completely. it cannot even launch. pathetic that its even still on the store and on sale for 75% when it is a broken game. absolute joke. fuck you ubishit.
Multiplayer and online features are no longer available for this product. Oh? gimme my money back. Oh yeah they kept asking PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN PLEASE LOG IN
Really enjoying this game, what fixed the crashing every 30 mins for me is right click on game and under launch options type: -offline -offline_mode
Ubisoft forces you to enter your login info constantly for this title. They do it to older games to make them more inconvenient to access. Do not support this terrible company full of terrible people.
Simple Crash Fix 1- Open Steam 2- Right Click On The Game 3- Select Properties 4- Write This Command In Launch Option Exactly The Same -offline -offline_mode Played For One Hour Didn't Crash Absolutely Masterpiece 10/10
12 Yrs later this Game holds very good. From Graphics to Stealth Mechanics everything is amazing. AI movements in Perfectionist Difficulty is so Realistic and detects minor movements like Normal Walking and Slow Walking Sounds, different reaction to Stand/Crouch and the use of Shadows forms the core of Full Stealth Game-play. Very Challenging and Engaging. Wonder Why Ubisoft Stopped making Splinter cell series. Note: Few bugs are there. One of the missions (Special Missions HQ) where player gets stuck in parking garage. Cant proceed. (found a solution in steam community page via a workaround) And the NPC movements is blurry at times.End game Credits bugged
This game is old af and it crashed everytime I alt+tab. But other than that I was actually hyped to finish it because of nostalgia but it wasn't tolerable
