About This Game

Wild Omission is an open world multiplayer sandbox survival game with severe weather set in an infinite procedurally generated world. Your goal survive, craft tools, and build bases that hold up against the most extreme weather. You can go at it alone, or with friends.

Whether it's your friends, a wild animal, or a tornado, pretty much anything and everything can kill you if you aren't careful. You must start off with nothing, and pull together to overcome all odds.

Use the resources you have gathered to craft tools, weapons, and shelter.

Build the house of your dreams, The only limit is your imagination, and what you can craft.

Weather is usually mild, but it can become deadly. Fortify your base and repair it when bad weather strikes.

Bring your friends along with you to help (or to grief your base). Create a community!

I'll write an honest review, I have played less than 2 hours so I wasn't too far into the gaming product. However, my decision to refund is based on a few things. The game was fun - I won't lie.. if the developer committed to the game and would continue to develop and broaden the game's future horizon and things to do in game I would quite possibly continue to play. * Crafting is EXTREMELY limited - I mean there's little to almost no crafting menu I can't even craft a roof for the base, I literally can only use an upper stone floor as a roof. There's only one craft station and that's just for smelting metals and ores. No real weapons but a gun and a bow. The rest are effectively gathering tools. My decision to refund is partially to do with the game's minimal options in it and limited crafting menu. I have 45 games in my library that have been abandoned by developers and at least 13 of those are single developers. At least as many have said the same as this developer where ...

This game is honestly fire. There's basically unlimited potential here, and the developer has a lot of options they could choose with how to move forward. A lot of raw elements with clear direction. Let it cook, and enjoy the ride with a developer that cares about their community! Hop in the Discord and chat, provide feedback, and share seeds for awesome worlds. The limitless world generation is just freaking fun, flat out.

This is a very early alpha game. There just isn't enough game here yet. It feels like they're trying to do a low-poly Rust basically. There are some random monster spawns in single-player that are bit minecraft-like. There's an interesting weather mechanic and a procedurally generated world. You only have 6 tool slots. The game is simple enough, that's enough, which is saying something. Movement is not quite right. For example, even jumping into your base is rough because you don't climb or move forward mid-jump. About the only thing you can do here is build a standard foundation-and-wall snap base and try to not run out of food or get eaten by monsters. There isn't much creative depth or exploration depth beyond that. Because they seem to be going for a multiplayer Rust route, I don't thing they're going to build a enough in the game for single player to be worthwhile. With a little extra game complexity, ability to shape the world a bit, maybe some interesting survival challenges o...

Very fun and cozy procedural open world survival game. The dev is very active and is always adding new and fun features. This game has a very cozy feel but at night your base gets attacked by mobs. They are just the right difficulty to not be too hard or overwhelming to fight. More firearms were added recently and they are a great addition. I recommend for anyone who likes building a base and/or survival aspects in their game. Also the world is randomly generated by seed each time you start a new world. Very awesome and can find cool biomes and areas in the map. Another new feature is creative mode where you can change many aspects of the game and spawn items and change the weather and various cheats/features. Highly recommend.

I've been playing Wild Omission, and I must say, I'm impressed with the game so far. The building mechanics are intuitive and satisfying, making it enjoyable to gather wood and rocks for construction. The simple, yet charming art style adds to the overall appeal. I’m excited to see how the game progresses and evolves over time. Can't wait to dive back in and explore more of what Wild Omission has to offer! :)

I will recommend this game because of the potential and its pretty fun as solo time killer. But if you're looking for a multiplayer experience with this game, I'd say wait on this game for the moment, and for these reasons as follows: You can not play online multiplayer with friends beyond simply connecting to them. Anyone outside of the game host, cannot interact within anything due to the server lag or latency. We tried it with different hosts to confirm this is the case, and it seems to be the same outcome for us no matter who is hosting. Keep in mind, we only have about an hour or so in this game....mainly all dedicated to attempting to play online coop with each other successfully. As a single player time killing game, this is very much a fun and very opportunistic style of game, with so much to make and explore. Sadly, this game we bought for the multiplayer experience. This is currently failing us. And just to cover all basis of it being my internet, I have a 1 GB ...

This game is simple but so much fun! Still early in development and has so much potential, you can help submit feedback to help and watch this game grow. If you enjoy crafting survival games then I think you'll enjoy this one for sure. This is going to be the next Minecraft!

This game is a lot of fun. The ambiance and aesthetic during the day can lull you into a false sense of security. Because when night time comes, it can get a little scary... But in a good way! It actually gives you a sense of danger and want to self preserve! Build shelter quick! Hope the dev keeps it up! ;)
