Music-Driven Design:

Experience a single evolving piece of music as the level progresses with our prog-opera inspired soundtrack. Every note you play harmonizes as a specific interval to the music, allowing for easy audio cues for speedrunners and kaizo enthusiasts.

Quicksaves and Quickloads:

Never get stuck in a level. Inpulse comes with emulator-style savestates which load instantaneously. Saves are mapped to your controller by default and increment automatically so that you never have to worry about overwriting past progress.

Adjustable Retry Speeds:

Set the pace of gameplay to your liking. Reload the level instantly to stay in the zone or pause a moment to analyze what you did.

Input Playback:

Analyze input playback on a DDR-style input screen.

Level Preview:

Preview the level with a tutorial character or race against it for speed. Record your own demos and send them to your friends or challenge our builtin speed-run files from top kaizo players.

Builtin TAS Support:

Save and load while recording to create a perfect run, and watch it at arbitrary playback speeds.

Builtin Twitch Chat:

One monitor? No problem! Fullscreen the game and read your twitch chat directly on the HUD.

Pause the game at any moment and modify the level. The game is the editor.
