Similar to other Sinomod Studios games this one takes it easy on you at first as you learn the basics and then a few stages in the music ramps up and thats when the real game begins! The creativity in this one is pretty good, the gameplay reminds me of Hotline Miami with how you dodge and use the walls as cover-- a lot of peek a boo gunplay. Love the color scheme and the music was pretty good, fun and addictive gameplay, highly recommend!

A Roxy Raccoon Universe game without raccoons! Instead, we have a Hotline Miami meets dungeon maze (?) entry into the series. Not my usual style of game, but was fun. Game play wise, you have 35 normal levels and several boss levels. Normal levels you'll sneak through the dungeons, avoiding traps, witches, and goblins. You'll also need to use an arsenal of weapons to get by. Different ones are available throughout the game and more unlock as you go, I believe there are 10 or so in total. They don't have names, but I really like the weaker fly homing spells, and the firework spread spell. The game gets harder as you go along, but also introduces some enemy-less levels later on that I found to be a nice break. Boss battles usually are in an arena type battle where you get a few choice of weapons to deal with them. They are fairly straight forward, and you get an achievement for each. Speaking of achievements, they are for completing the story, watching credits at the end, playing var...
Just starting to play this game, love the maze theme partnered with magic. Highly recommend, can't wait to play more.
My fave part of this release was the arcade games... namely carrot sweeper (version of mine sweeper), the memory game one, and odd one out... they'd be great if ported onto phone apps imho... great for just zoning out or just trying to focus on something for a bit. Admittedly hunting witches isn't something I'm a fan of due to my own history in various things so that's why the game wasn't as interesting to me as the arcade games. I did still make it through the initial story and as far as 3rd stage but the game play isn't my fave and that's as far as I got. What I'd recommed more is to go over to their other games especially the pinball and bowling ones.
First dungeon type clearing game from Sinomod Studios and wow, they did not disappoint!! Play as Devious Donna as she maneuvers through maze like levels, harness your power and take your revenge!! Visuals are outstanding. Very catchy soundtrack. The customization is as always amazing throughout each game Sinomod Studios puts out. All around a must play!
The best way I can describe this one? Unexpected. I bought it solely to support the devs as I want to see more Roxy games and I know they are a very small team; I also don’t think their games get the attention they deserve. That being said, this was actually a lot of fun and I’m not so secretly hoping for some sort of follow up or expansion.
This game is very much up my alley. I enjoyed all the other Roxy games but those don’t tackle the same sort of itch. Slick gameplay, excellent music, balanced difficulty level, fair amount of content, bangin’ soundtrack and tight controls (used a keyboard & mouse). There’s even an arcade mode with a bunch of mini-games, which seems to be the pattern with most of their releases. No major complaints, just a solid package and delivers for both newcomers and fans of the series as the plot really has nothing to do with the Roxy games.
Let me start off by saying I went into this one completely blind. I knew it was a game set in the world of Roxy and that’s why I picked it up. A game starring Donna? How could that be after the results of Roxy 2 (No spoilers)? Well, it’s a prequel. This game is very different from the other Roxy titles but you can tell the same amount of passion was put into it. I would not show this game to very young children because of the violence (nothing gratuitous or extreme, but it is an action game after all). There is no profanity, nudity, drug use or anything along those lines which is nice. I found this one to be a lot more difficult than the other games these developers have put out but nothing frustrating. I am glad I stuck through it to the end and I had fun overall. I just hope that the developers go back to Roxy entered games after this.
A Roxy game without Raccoons? How could that be? Well, this is a game starring the main antagonist. It’s a solid dungeon crawler type game. Sort of like Hotline Miami in the world of Harry Potter? I’m not sure how else to describe it. It’s a fun time and worth the cheap asking price. I know the developers have been focusing a lot on pinball but its nice to see them putting out other games still. I do hope they return to the Roxy games next though.
