Combat has been designed from the ground up for PvP. Feel the impact of your attacks and use your abilities to carve out the flow of battle. Quick decisions and precision are necessary to win.

TAKE WHAT YOU KILL

In the wilds, the spoils go to the victor. The world is more real when everyone's hard-earned loot is on the line. Victories are savored while defeat hardens resolve.

PREPARE FOR BATTLE

Respite awaits behind the stone walls of the city. Fortify your elixirs and armaments at shops. Rest in your private room at the inn, organize your stash, and cook a meal for the next adventure.
Season 2 update
The new season was just released and I spent a couple of hours to explore the changes. You can find my unaltered, older review about season 1 below.
TL;DR:
It's a step in the right direction but feels like half of a step.
New map
The big new thing of this season is the added map for beginners. It is gorgeous and “PvE only” with the exception of a dedicated smaller PvP area that warns you on entry. On this map you can gather the basic resources for your first gear set and fight weakened versions of the mobs that you'll encounter on the other maps. For any progression that goes beyond this point you'll have to join the other maps eventually. Currently this map has two issues that hopefully get fixed with future patches: - Due to its popularity it is often already picked "clean" when you join. - It is set to "Mixed" queue with *no* gear limit. So in the worst case you'll run into a geared team as solo when you venture into the PvP area. In...

180 hours in Positives -

The movement and feel of the game is excellent. The devs absolutely nailed this one and it's the #1 reason why people get hooked. It feels like WoW, but more twitchy and controllable. You can have meaningful skill progression by putting a decent amount of hours into the game.
The maps are well designed and the PVE content is actually fun
Diverse set of classes and abilities to master
Engaged community of players who want the game to succeed
Low system requirements make the game very smooth even for low tier PCs
Overall good IP with a lot of room to grow
Visible dev team and active discord
Cons -

New player experience is quite brutal. Mostly due to high skill players with hundreds of hours that have no PVE content left, so their enjoyment comes from roaming and clearing maps via PVP. This is the main crux of the game that the devs don't seem to understand is pushing players away, which is very odd bec...

There is nothing fun about this game for new players. Going into a map only to be completely slaughtered by a sweat in full max set and not even extract or have anything to show for your time is just the absolute worst experience. The devs dont respect your time and it's very clear. The devs are completely aware of the new player experience and even talk about it in interviews and then push a Season 2 full of cosmetics and a few boring quests that have you gather 10 apples or kill X enemies, which does nothing to fix the reason everyone is leaving this game. I can't bring my friends into this game in the current state and you shouldn't either. Great game, awful devs. When this game finally goes live it will be completely dead except for youtube sweats. Dont bother

The devs are making catastrophic mistakes with balancing and new content releases. I know its a small team, but then prepare your shit. Game is the worst it has felt today in s2 and its bad decision after bad decision. I know its early release, but then I would stop charging people at this rate, fix your shit, and dont charge people for bad dev mistakes. It sucks cuz this game has so much potential.

Combat is a lot of fun, but the game is completely dead. Averaging around 50 players a day if we're lucky. The boys went 2-3 days/nights in a row without every seeing a single player. TLDR - servers are dead dead - veterans team up and hunt new players (terrible experience) Save your money, don't buy unless it's over 1k players.

Playing as a healing class in a game that's PVPVE is pointless. You also have those heroes who think that you're "spawn camping" while you're simply trying to leave an area. I'm a priest you tool, do you really think I'm out here camping people? Being support in a game that's basically dead and no good match making to make up for it is lame. I got jumped by a warrior and a hunter my first time stepping into green woods and lost all my stuff so that was cool too. I bought this two days ago and I'm already over it.

God what an absolute steaming pile. Wait till its on offer for like 4.99 to try. I bought this game on the recommendation of someone who obviously has extra DNA in all the wrong places and half a lobe. Long story short, its an extraction looter/brawler that lacks any fun but the visuals. Allow me to explain why. PVP Overall combat is clunky, even a basic attack feels unnatural, unresponsive and uninspiring. 4 combat skills, hold or click alternatives. Has potential to be a great mobile game with that diversity. (Sarcasm) The Stamina system for additional movement is a great addition to any brawler but it is poorly implemented here in regards to combat balance. Run out of stamina you're exhausted and dead. Takes way to long to naturally recharge and combined with the blocking system it physically hurts. But its ok cas priests can fly woooooo Any game you get stuck in an attack animation pvping without being cc'd just isn't worth its salt. You're gonna have a meta combat gear set,...

This is a fun game. Its early access. Combat is complex, or at least it can be. Most PVE is pretty straight forward. PVP is challenging, there are a lot of move sets for each class. I've heard a wipe is due soon and there will be a new map for starters that will have a smaller PVP section and be mostly PVE. Its needed. The player base is pretty dang small, and content is limited so PVP is what the sweats that are still playing it since the last wipe are into. They swarm day map. There is a map that is a stress and resource free area to practice combat against players. This is great. I would love more PVE content. I'm a middle aged player and while I enjoy a good throw down occasionally, I have not yet gotten "gud" yet, but still really enjoy the world and the world building. As I mentioned, player base is small. This has the bones of a great game. Support it.

Unbalanced, Unoptimized and a lot of Bugs even for a early access game The game had a really good vision of gameplay but failed to implement it, I've really been trying to enjoy this game but everytime I return to play on Major releases it always has the same problems, it really feels like its like just 2 or 3 Devs whos doing things rushed

fun for the first few hours of learning the game, then gets tedious and interrupted by the Pvp'ers who take advantage of you being busy with other pve fights... the pvp can be nice if you are going in for that sake, but there is mild unbalance of meeting people with over-gear that can kill you in 2 blows and waste hours of your farming. in conclusion, if are going to play is solo, expect lots of death and disappointment.
