Home Design | Floor Plan

Going to mark no FOR NOW. The game has potential but the way it is now, I am unable to design my current home to modify it for future plans. As long as it isn't abandoned by the devs and they continue to update it, it could be great for planning future layouts. I may come back to it once it is updated and there are more options. I did request a refund but only to see if it is left as is or if they continue to update it. If they change the price, I will gladly pay more for something a little more advanced. I just have bad luck with games being abandoned right after release and not getting my money's worth. It has serious potential and could be a major tool for future home renovation plans.

Glad it was on sale for $4.99. It doesn't seem very easy to just create your own plan. I was a kitchen designer 25 years ago, and those programs were easy to manipulate wall size with a simple click and type the dimension. I'll keep messing around with it for awhile. We'll see...

Needs an undo button and the dimensions should be marked outside the wall not inside since items obstruct it

More limited than MS paint.

tried to make a simple single floor design for a spare garage conversion to mother-in-law house.... User interface looks intuitive and simple but it does not work ... ie trying to resize a room by clicking and dragging walls does'nt work. 'help' is limited... no explanations beyond general use. It should have been easy. Waste of money if you ask me.

Did a layout of my house to do a test run on how it works, I think it's pretty great and once I worked out how to change things size, direction, it was all smooth sailing! I do recommend it :) I was extremely happy with the selection of furniture for each room and extra items! I still have plenty to learn and do. (will update)

Do not buy this game, its a waste of money. Nothing works correctly in it.

Advertisement of the game play is very misleading. The simplest of functions (making a room the size you want it - hello), is soooo tedious and difficult. Changing the room size of provided templates is not possible. This is far more easy to do in MS Excel. The instructions are so basic, general, and pretty much useless. No undo button, seriously? Requested a refund after 30 minutes.

This is dreadful. It appears to be a school kids unfinished project that looks good, but does not deliver the things it promises. The manual says what it alleges it can do, but not how to do the things. I hope I can get my money back...
