Pigments is a classic -- Disc Room meets Super Hot, with a delightfully playful and whimsical style. If this game had come out in the 80s people would still be talking about it now, it's up there with Ms. Pac-Man. I've already played the itch version for several hours; it was incredibly rewarding to start the Steam version and see how many first-try 100%s I could get. Highly recommended!!

About This Game
Each of the 12 fruits available has their own level with its little quirks. For each level your score is defined by how many of the tiles you managed to paint before getting sliced to death.
Your best score for each level adds up to your total metascore, which unlocks new fruits and difficulties. Easy and normal modes are unlocked from the start.
Additionally, in battle mode you may select one fruit and attempt to beat all the other fruits in continuous 1-to-1 face-offs. Will you bring your fruit to the King of Fruits status?

It's a fun little game. Fairly simple but not too easy or hard, with some interesting options and variety + a decent amount of content for the price. It feels like the hitbox of the fruits/hurtbox of the saws could be a little more accurate to the visuals, but deaths generally feel fair. Each level is pretty short, even on a full clear, so it's not that frustrating to lose.
Awesome, fun , fast and hard game (4 difficultys) <3 8/10 ...feels like pacman is having a bad Trip and dreams about beeing a fruit xD Bad Stuff: Some Achievements seems to be broken :( (All the "75% in a fruit level" Achievements)
Excellent little game with just enough variation to keep each level fun and interesting.
not easy enough
This game's tougher than its art direction suggests. I appreciate that each fruit isn't just different in its level layout, but in what the fruit can do, as well. And then there's a few unique hazards, too. Keeps things interesting. I was surprised at just how many times I misjudged the angle a buzzsaw was going at and got sliced. Having a lot of fun with it. It's like Pac-Man and Q-Bert put together. Note for the developers: The game did crash on me one time, playing as the chestnut. Dealing with string code, the numbers given were 2716 (function foo), 2700 (function lp), 94 (function foreach), 2557 (function foo), 2576 (function kf), 284 (function f), and 1611 (function f). it's.. fruity i'm sorry
I've never felt such raw emotion like playing as a piece of fruit in Disc Room. It's pretty good! Like many of Punkcake's games, I wish there was more, but they got me to pay $6 for this and it's always a fair price for the amount of fun mechanical design they offer. It gets addicting, too. 7/10. Pigments is good, but not one of their all-time best.
A fantastically fun and surprisingly addicting game. I am stuck in a loop of finding the blades easy to predict and then being certain they have their own demented AI which seeks to destroy me at every turn. Brilliant time!
