The game has great potential, but needs a bit more work to truly shine. It must take some guts making a new minigolf VR game, as this genre is heavily dominated by Walkabout Minigolf. But Walkabout Minigolf is phoneVR, designed for incredibly slow phone gpus (Adreno 650 phone gpu in the Quest 2's XR2 SoC), while Mini Golf Aeons is designed for high-end VR. This you can easily see in some of the great textures, but it's still behind Walkabout Minigolf in the design of courses and the lighting. Of course Walkabout Minigolf has many devs spending years milking the ultraslow Adreno 650 to perfection, while the devs behind Mini Golf Aeons probably has much more limited ressources.
