ACUVAC: A Suck and Blow Adventure

I just started playing and couldn't stop. Super fun and unique game! Controlling ACUVAC is awkward at first, but within ten minutes I really felt I was getting the hang of it - which felt incredibly rewarding. It was playing Dark Souls for the first time - only I wasn't getting my ass beat while learning. One thing the demo, screenshots, and video teaser doesn't quite express is how much of a fucking gremlin being ACUVAC feels like. You're just like running through slurping down tons of sweets and tossing shit out windows and beating up the other robot children for daring to exist in your world.

ACUVAC is just fun. Goofy controls, groovy music, great times. Youre a vacuum with the storage space of a black hole. Complete the stages in quick fashion, but stay for the rooms quirks and features. The art style and aesthetic remind me a lot of Hi-Fi Rush, so I shall consider this the story of a robot from Vanderlay Technologies. There's a lot of game here. Enjoy it.

Brings back memories of the wacky joy and silly fun of katamari with the satisfaction of de-cluttering a space from cleanup games. Thought in some light "puzzle solving" to find the hidden medals in each level and you have some fun you can keep coming back to.

Wow, what a wonderful game! I couldn’t stop playing and now my hand hurts. You can really tell that passion went into making this. Every level brings something new and is a joy to play. I especially enjoyed the pub and arcade levels. There’s some jank with the physics, but it doesn’t bother me in a game like this, in fact it’s part of what makes it fun! 5/5 sucks, 5/5 blows.

Went into this game blind, and this exceeded any expectations I thought I had. This game is for anything who wants a chaotic cleaning experience, with collectibles to find and fun challenges. And of course, the physics!!!! ANNNDD You can collect ANYTHING! You can fling yourself around, fling objects! Get yourself wedged in something, go wild! Go bowling, collect anything, have boss fights, or just clean and complete tasks! There is no real right way to play this game. Collect medals to progress worlds! I could spend over a half hour in so many levels cause i was having so much fun! Everyone working on this game put so much care into this game and it shows! The models, the music, the gameplay mechanics, its all so much fun!!! I will definitly be continuing to play and following these devs :D

Acuvac fulfills my greatest desire: to take part in a supermarket sweep! One of the bonus levels has you trying to get as high a dollar amount as possible in picking up food and other items in the grocery store, and it's fun trying to figure out how to gather up the more expensive things quickly! The game has lots of other kinds of levels too, and you can take your time sucking up every item you find, or flinging them all out the window, until there's nothing left. It feels super satisfying to have everything completely clean!

A collectathon with a chill yet chaotic vibe similar to Katamari Damacy! So easy to jump in and suck it!!! I love the variety of challenges and colorful environments, the soundtrack is a delight as well.

I was not prepared for how much I'd like Sucking and Blowing. This game is like Katamari with just a touch of foddy-like. It's an actual blast to play. The main gameplay loop is great on it's own, but it's constantly expanding and pushing the boundaries of it's own mechanics. Each level felt exciting and new. The arcade level alone completely wowed me. Also the music? Banging Highly recommend.

Super cute and so much fun! I'm really enjoying how all the levels are so different with unique puzzles. I love how challenging it is, giving it a lot of replayability!

It's a cute, colorful game with a catchy soundtrack and intentionally challenging controls. But don't think you just will be cleaning all the time because there are many additional tasks to do and secrets to find! The Arcade for example is definetely one of my favourite levels! Whether you just want to blow out some steam or chill while yeeting a cat roomba out of the window, this game is for you! It's definitely a great game for the Steam Deck! Everything is readable. Controls are smooth and the game supports cloud saving!
