I know Ubisoft gets a lot of hate, but personally, I don’t think it’s enough: [list] [*]Cloud saves don’t just fail to sync between PC and Steam Deck — they actively overwrite each other, forcing me to start a new game every time. Cant get past the first mission without it crashing. Fuck ubisoft

Easy completion, forced to play trough the Game twice because of dogshit achievement Implementation. If anyone reads this, intending to do all achievements, only launch the Game trough Ubisoft Connect, If you launch trough Steam, the Achievements will stop working at some Point, and you'll lock yourself out of completing the Game in one Playtrough.

A short yet fun dlc that combines Far Cry 3's gameplay with 80's action parody filled with one liners, explosions, and lasers. I like how this doesn't take itself seriously at all and went in a completely different direction from the main game.

Far Cry Redux Like the basic mechanic of Far Cry games without all the tedium to complete, like hunting around the map for wristwatches or whatnot? This is the core essence of Far Cry, and it delivers. Starts off weak and annoying, but it's very easy to free all the garrisons and side quests and become a super soldier. Once you do this, the main storyline missions are easy as cake but still a good time. Goes out with a bang, the polar opposite of its lethargic start, and it's undeniably fun. It basically gives you a superweapon and you just tear up heaps of baddies. Minus for the 'server is offline' thing that takes nearly a minute to figure out when you pause, simply because this could easily be fixed by deleting a single line of code, and nobody at Ubi GAF. Also minus points for the ugly and lifeless world. Not worth full price, because it's very short. But worth it 75% off.

Game is fantastic, Ubisoft sucks! One of the best love letter's to 80's action flicks! The gameplay is fun and the story is tight and short. Michael Biehn shines as Rex Power Colt and everything becomes worth it the moment you play the last mission. And it runs wonderfully on Steam Deck. However, I cannot recommend you buy this for PC. Ubisoft Connect is a terminal disease that does nothing but plague your experience every step of the way. Why does a single player game need to connect to Ubisoft's online servers? Beats me. But because of this, achievements refuse to unlock cause it can't sync properly to Steam and it really sucks the soul out of grinding to 100% everything by giving you no reward. If they ever remove Ubisoft Connect from this game, please give it a try! But for now, I will never support a Ubisoft title ever again.

This game is absolutely phenomenal, I've finished it on the PS3 and was dying to replay it on the PC. So why am I giving it a thumbs down? Because Ubisoft just refuses to learn how to respect their costumers, you HAVE to install Uplay in order to launch this game, which is bad enough, but the game will also constantly attempt to connect to the live servers which arent available anymore, freezing for a full minute everytime you pause the game. This is unacceptable, I will boycott EVERY Ubisoft game until they either fix or drop Uplay, no more money from me. You have to respect your costumers, we're fed up with you EDIT: The game will not launch, the ubisoft app always gets stuck. Major f*ck up from ubisoft

Ubisoft used to be good. Oh well. This game is very short and very good. It does what it does very well and does not waste your time.
