Actually a pretty clever little idea. Although there isn't any obvious challenge to Otok, it's still unexpectedly fun to try and make the best looking model city you can with the pieces it gives you. Not something you should expect to play for hours on end but I could see myself booting it up every so often for fun.

About the Game
When you start the game gives you a 4x4 - 12x12 block island, and the colors of the Roofs, Water, Grass, and Trees, are randomly picked. Then you are given a random building that you can rotate and place where you choose. After placing it, you will be given another building, to build a nice little pretty island.
Objects that are placable include:
Trees
Rocks (as of v1.03)
Buildings
Other Structures
The placable objects that are randomly given, are dependent on the style of the island which is randomly picked between the current styles.
Current Styles include:
- Medieval (castle-type stuff)
- Plain (modern-day normal-looking buildings)
- Adobe (pueblo architectural style)
- Guarda (a style based on the village of Guarda, Switzerland)
The Game is solo developed, hopefully, you enjoy it, it's a very simple concept.
And this is my first game in actual 3D where I had to use Blender to model the buildings.

David Szymanski recommended this game and it was worth the buy what a wonderful game, keep up the good work
A very chill indie sandbox game with a beautiful and simple 3D aesthetic. Lots of room for content expansion. Make sure to turn up the SFX and Music volume in the settings, the music is relaxing and the placement sound is probably my favorite part of the game.
Cute and fun, also has a great soundtrack.
The game isn't very in-depth, nor does it provide much of a challenge, but it's still a very charming little creation. I like booting it up every now and then to chill and listen to the soundtrack, which is very good. I'm kinda hoping the dev will release the soundtrack to purchase or stream. Also, if the dev sees this, Hello! I hope you're having a good day.
This game is really fun and relaxing. I will definitely be toying around with it a lot more, and I already have a few screenshots saved! The only thing I'd like to see is a change in the control menu, where it tells you that R rotates the island, and right clicking rotates the buildings. It currently says that R rotates the buildings, and says nothing about right clicking. ENJOY BUILDING EVERYONE! It's a fun game.
Its a pretty cute and fun game, also really nice music
Game is pretty chill. Cheeky little city builder. I recommend this game when you really need to wind down and just vibe with a podcast or movie in the background. Mr Dusk recommended it on twitter so i shall recommend it to my friends. <3

Otok is a very beautiful little game. You get to decorate some islands of varying sizes with random buildings (or also chosen by you if you switch mode) and that is basically it! You won't probably play it for hours on end in one sitting but it felt so nice to launch it a couple of times in the past days and just sit and decorate while imagining functional aspects of my decision and fantasizing about what the little meeples were thinking of their world. Absolutely worth it and very well crafted! :)
