the new terms of 14AUG2025 update forces player to agree in order to continue playing is not fair. i was a fan of zen from ps3 era but now i would never buy anything from this kind of game maker. what you paid could be easily void by a term update. EVERY PLAYER SHOULD AVOID.

They've made changes to the EULA that I was abruptly hit with that involve the use of invasive anti-cheat devices and generated 'AI' content. I am a very long time customer of the entire FX series and they dropped this and I find their business practices similar to a bait and switch. I play offline and who cares about stupid high scores anyway when no matter what you do--someone is going to cheat. I'm not installing any anti-cheat and not letting you use my data for free when I am paying a license to use your product, which is a flawed at best pinball simulator. It has the licensing and plays 'ok' but has always lacked coin door access and adjustments which just seem like a basic thing to be offering. Several games I have reported numerous bugs with how the game works, both logically (Pub Champ still has the wrong ROM as the game can break), and non-existent physics/ball mechanics (scoops do not work properly on attack from mars and neither does the ship forcefield drop targets as...
I'm correcting this review after being informed that the arbitration clause was present from the beginning, and I had apparently missed it the first time. That's a strike for me, but that said: if you don't want to accept arbitration clauses, avoid this game for its EULA. Otherwise, I'd say it's a really great pinball platform with a ton of tables including originals and classics (some, obviously, better than others). [strike]Previously I would have gladly recommended this game, but as of August 16, Zen Studios decided to update their EULA to include a binding arbitration clause. This is unacceptable, especially after having put so much time and money into the title only to be effectively locked out after the fact because of a new, objectionable EULA, unless I commit to playing in offline mode through Steam. Shame on Zen for such a stupid move. At the very least they could update the client to allow local-only play so I don't have to accept bad terms without warning. Until that happ...
The physics are definitely different to Pinball FX3, it just requires re-learning things a little. Love all the Williams Machines they've recreated here, plus that they're still adding new classic tables! Keep-em coming!
If you want to play some pinball but can't get to your local pub that has one - this is the best solution I've found for a digital option. The re-creation of classics are pretty incredible and the ones designed to be played on digitally are pretty fun too. Warning up front: if you aren't buying the tables on sale the get pricey fast, but they have a few on sale every week. Being patient and grabbing them on sale can save you 60% usually.
