Do you like cozy? Do you like trains? Boy is this the game for you. I always get into a game with trains and start having a great time, but then suddenly I'm balancing loads, train pathway layout, and trying to make it the most efficient. That's usually about the time I decide to not go get a degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering and set down the game. Luckily, Locomoto scratches that same train delivery itch without requiring a Master's Degree. The anthropomorphic animals are cute, the personalities are fun, and the mechanics are cozy enough that you can run the most efficient train line or randomly go from station to station without penalty or deterrent. The atmosphere (art style and music) are also pretty amazing. Though, I don't like that there is a track that plays only while riding the train, as nothing is worse than really getting into the tune, only for it to end seconds later as you pull into the next station. But when you have to go to... / checks notes / "The ...

As charming as could be. The best couch game I've found to relax and play with my life. 10/10 honestly.
This game is incredibly cute, obviously. It has a nice (if simple) story, decent character customization, and the core conceit of it is fun and new. It's a game of a type I've never played before, and that's always a big win in my book. Did I mention how cute the game is? Really, that's a huge driving factor behind how nice the experience is. I know some people will say "this is just animal crossing", but while it may take some inspiration from the AC franchise it's quite clearly a totally different gameplay loop. It also, you know, features a story, such as it is, and the characters, while simple, have hand-crafted dialogue instead of stock archetypes and a catchphrase. There are some flaws, of course. It's slightly buggy at time of review, though nothing game breaking. The music is a bit bland and repetitive. I'm usually pretty easy on the soundtrack, but in this case I was just not having that much fun with it. There's more common criticism, like the inventory management ...
I live in this game when I play it :D It's so sweet, I love the things you have to do and the missions that keep you busy. Everything is so cute and well made! Love it!
I love this game so much! It looks beautiful and it's very satisfying to fulfill the tasks. Easy to understand, easy to play, just cosy vibes with the perfect lofi music.
Simply put I love this game, so cozy, so relaxing and the game play is wonderful.
I loved this game, very cosy and just what I hoped for <33
very cute!! super fun, itches the part of my brain that likes to collect stuff and quest taking from cute little people
I like the balance between management and cozy gameplay. They ask for food but you have no hunger meter, it's just a bonus service to customers, you have no sleeping or anything to maintain, you just need to make sure the train has enough coal to go. Demo is pretty cool, you can see most of what awaits you in the game, so you should try it before buying the game
Lovely relaxing game. The characters are basically all "stuffies" with how cute and wholesome their designs are. The writing is pleasant and charming, and the story is compelling in a laid-back storybook kind of way. Anyone could love this game, but if you like trains you'll be in heaven. ♥♥♥
