Old Good Game

Great game! Especially good for those who like close range combat. Do save frequently, as you can get stuck in the environment sometimes. Also, if you roll a lot in combat to evade (you should), make sure to take a couple of steps towards your target before attacking, otherwise you will frequently attack in the wrong direction. Game has wonderful visuals and an exciting story. Game uses the rather unique SILK engine.

Won't write a lot because this game left me unsatisfied in an indifferent way, so I don't have much to say. I mean, the game is very cheap but, unless you really dig the setting, just buy something else. Story and characters are pretty one-dimensional, you really shouldn't play this game for this. The environment feels immersive for like 15 minutes, then as soon as you're outside the railroaded prologue it becomes bland, levels aren't interesting and nor deep, they feel too similar to each other. Combat is very simple, a bit clunky and is a bit one dimensional, proably also because of the limited amount of enemies: like 4 human variants and 2 animals.

I saw this game by accident and it was not for nothing that I paid attention to it. Good plot, good combat and also character leveling, there is also a choice of how the plot will develop. A huge minus is the help of NPCs during fights, it is absolutely useless. My rating: ✭✭✭✰✰
