Rediscovering a Classic — KF2 Still Holds Up! I've owned Killing Floor 2 for many years, but I'll admit I never truly gave it the attention it deserved. Recently, I was looking forward to KF3, but its rocky launch left me feeling underwhelmed. That's when I decided to dust off KF2 and give it another proper go — and wow, was it worth it. Coming back after all this time, I can see just how much love and detail went into this game. The atmosphere, weapon feedback, enemy variety, and sheer satisfaction of mowing through waves are unmatched. It's a perfect blend of chaotic fun and teamwork, and even in 2025, it still looks and plays great. Sometimes it takes a bit of perspective (and a new release that doesn't quite hit the mark) to realize how special an older game truly is. KF2 is still a blast to play, and in my opinion, it's aged like a fine wine.

this game is a cyber safety nightmare, if you like other players getting mad at you for existing as a level 13 an then fail to kick you out of your own match, so they continue to kick you offline using the game to acquire your ip then this game is for you. in other words don't buy this game an definitely don't have it anywhere near your computer.

This game was an amazing finding. Servers are still full today, and I haven't tried all the possible game modes, but I am already happy with the default mode (and spent tens of hours in it). Classes are interesting, and teams must be diverse to have good results. The game is primarily focused on combat, so expect a lot of action and no story at all. Definitely recommend you give it a try on a steam sale, you will not regret it.

This game is a really good way to escape the world and just focus on killing Zedds. It also has a great community around it and is fun to play with all different people.

would recommend but not better than original because the horror in kf1 was better like the new zed variations and bosses would recommend this over killing floor 3
