About the Game

Eador is a universe made of countless shards of land drifting in the Great Nothing. Each of the shards is a little world unto itself, with geography and denizens of its own. Played this a long time ago. Liked the game design. But it just does not WORK anymore. Not as a matter of concept, but as a matter of code. Breaks constantly, crashes, soft locks... it's mostly unplayable.

Games is great .. . after many years I've again experienced a game where I'm loosing track of hours, hydration and food .. . Windows Defender anti-ransomware can block access to folders in Documents which can cause game not to be able to save settings, saves or just plain crash on each start or end turn as Autosave tries to create a save file. Once exception is added it works fine. It was very annoying to figure out especially after 3 previous days of enjoyment . ..

Eador. Masters of the Broken Game. It is so buggy that the main challenge is just to run it. Constant crashes with memory access while trying to conquer a shard, in-battle bugs, and so on. I liked it as a child, but it really isn't worth an effort.
