About This Game

Which Way Up: Galaxy Games is a family friendly party game that gives unique freedom of movement by allowing you to run on walls and ceilings, orbit around planets, or fall across entire levels by manoeuvring through gravity fields.

Each of our 12 Gravity Games feature their own unique bite-sized challenge where up to 4 players can compete. Eject your friends into space as you race across gravity fields, score a goal with an entire moon, leap across planets to escape a black hole, capture and hold zodiacal constellations and much more!

 • Gravity-bending platforming for up to 4 players locally and online using Steam Remote Play Together

 • 7 Celestial Characters (5 unlocked in the Demo)

 • Hours of fun for family and friends of all ages

 • 12 Galaxy Games (6 unlocked in the Demo), including:

Before The Universe existed, the Space Sprites banded together one-by-one to see a dream come to fruition: the dream of life itself. As The Universe began to take shape, so too did space. But space is unpredictable, and creating life is tiresome work. So, the Sprites took it upon themselves to create a pastime. The Galaxy Games. The fledgling Space Spirits compete and train together to learn how to one day become the next avatar incarnation of their respective cosmic concepts.

Sprout

A manifestation of biology and organic life, Sprout is a personification of nature and all living things.

Prism

A manifestation of light, Prism is a personification of electromagnetic radiation that can be perceived by the human eye.

Luna

A manifestation of Earth's only natural satellite, Luna is the embodiment of the night and Earth's shifting tides.

Sunny

A manifestation of the Star at the centre of our solar system, Sunny gives our home planet light and energy. Sunny has a close relationship with Prism and they both helped bring life to Sprout.

Maggie

A manifestation of the magnetic fields which allow objects to attract and repel each other. Maggie has the power to bring others together, or keep them apart.

Spark

Having shone for millions of years, Spark is the brightest of all the Spirits.

Orbit

A manifestation of the curved path objects can follow in space when affected by gravity. Orbit will sometimes stop by for a short visit, or they'll never leave.
Good party game. Skip the single-player.
If you have a rotation of party games you like to play with friends or family, Which Way Up: Galaxy Games (sheesh, what a title) is a worthy addition to that roster. It's quite a looker for an indie party game; the main menu is especially well done. And the combination of game modes with the tricky physics engine makes for a genuinely enjoyable pick-up put-down experience with others. At $15 full price, if you're interested in couch gaming, it's worth the buy for that alone. The single-player is where this game really falls down (so to speak), and as such, I can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone who won't be playing with others. The mechanics are too fiddly for how tight the medal requirements are, the writing fell very flat for me, and the mini-games on offer simply aren't as fun if you're playing against the clock instead of human opponents. And if you have friends, playing single-player will widen the skill gap be...

Pretty fun party game to play with friends locally or online with Steam Remote Play or Parsec. Minigames are fun and are all really well designed. Art and UI is very polished and cohesive. Also has a surprisingly decent amount of singleplayer content for a party game. Overall can definitely recommend.

I've really loved playing this game in its primary multiplayer party mode. But - now that it's out, I was so impressed to see a fleshed out singleplayer mode too, so I could play it more when I'm alone at home! Now that's value! Plus the animations and UI are all so polished and juicy it's so gorge!

Pure couch party joy! If you have kids, or if your friends are LIKE kids, this is the game for you. They've really polished that smooth Nintendo aesthetic & gameplay perfectly. The gravity/forces mechanic makes sure every match feels different and elevates the game above a simple Smash-style brawler - it takes tactics, skill and a little luck to win. The whole thing is clearly a labour of love - great to see small indie teams producing such quality games. Instant buy!

It's easy to pick up, intuitive and quirky. Great for a party game, or beating up your children when they inevitably disappoint you.
