Last Train Outta' Wormtown

Most based dev ever. As a group we love this game, and there were some serious issues. We wrote a review, the dev responded and fixed it NEXT DAY. he commented on every one of our reviews. SUPPORT THIS GAME!

EDIT: Originally I had a negative review about interactions between Wyrms and dynamite here and a few other small gripes that made me say I couldn't recommend the game. Got a response from the developer directly, as did several friends, and a same-day patch addressing the issues addressed after acknowledging them. Absolutely GOAT'd dev. Earned my support immediately. Get wormtown. eat your friends. blow up train cars with dynamite. Game is incredibly silly, characteristic, and fun when you realize how many mechanics interact.

The game is fun but needs much more content. Their needs to be more variety in the maps because it gets boring doing the same area over and over even with the themes. It sucks to play as the people in the game compared to the worm. Traveling across the large map is a major hassle. Maybe add a stable for 1 horse to travel across the map faster but not everyone should have it. The worm should be able to eat the horse as well as see its movement. Also have different sized maps the default one is way too big for those with a small party.

I want to recommend this game, but as of yet, there's just too many things off for my group. I only play this with my roomies, so I've played this 2 to 5 people. But even when I set the game to the easiest difficulty for the Pardners, give them More health, and I disable all Worm powers, the Worm still wins easily. The worm is stupidly fast and can jump through the air. If I see a Pardner "vanish", I can often easily guess where they went, and pounce them. WITH all the Worm powers, it's just a smorgasbord. I really love proximity voice, but this game incentivizes you not to use it, or you'll give yourself away. Which results in a very quiet game. Lately, I've been playing the Worm badly on purpose, to make it more fun for my roomies. Equally, none of us wanna be silent, so we taunt each other, even though that makes it A LOT easier for me as the Worm. I don't know what I want done differently for the game. Maybe the game just only really works with a super high playercount....

This game is very fun!!!!!!!!!!

Played this for a couple hours and oh my gosh is it a blast! Still learning the ropes and such but this game is so fun with voice on and a couple friends. Plus, the friend pass makes the barrier to entry so low, it's super easy to get people in on the fun! Hoping that more folks pick up this game so the public lobbies start to thrive a bit more, but even then, private lobbies are oodles of fun, even with only 3 or four people!

the balancing is a bit off by default so you need to tweak it a bit to fit the different skill levels of your group, but the fact that they have the amount of customization and even a friend pass makes this game a 10/10 imo
