This is the worst match 3 game I've ever played. Well first of all it's not technically "match 3" since you have to match at least 4, and you are given a random butterfly to place somewhere on the board instead of swapping two already on the board as is typical of the match 3 genre. But those minor differences are not why I'm giving this game a negative rating, something I rarely do. This game is so basic, it's boring. There are two modes: play until you can't make matches fast enough and endless play (which is pointless and boring because it literally never ends). And there's a slightly annoying voice instead of just a chime sound effect. There's absolutely no story just the same boring gameplay. I've played games on my phone that were more interesting than this game. I'm getting a refund. What a disappointment.

fluttabyes is a butterfly-based match-4, kinda similar to one of the game modes in bejeweled 3. not sure why the pdf manual was a, necessary and b, not included in the install folder, but it's accessible from the store page or your library. also as an optional tutorial in the game, they're one and the same. it's timed score attack, there's a dandelion serving as a timer. 2 game modes, survival is survival, endless is endless, without a clock, so it's entirely pointless and ends when you forfeit. online leaderboards are kept for both modes. instead of swiping or chaining or whatever, you're placing and replacing butterflies yourself, a yellow with an orange, for instance. upcoming ones are on the side, combos for matching more than 4, swiftness and cascades, some of them extend the timer as well. line up 4 ladybugs for a mega match, more are even better. there's a...
Well, there is nothing much to describe and the game is as simple as applying butter over bread with paper knife. You hit the same coloured butterfly and make a combo and congratulations, you have already completed the game because that's it and no further level progress . Just one playground and try different permutations and combinations to score a combo and hear a ingrained cute baby voice lauding the player with "Awesome, Cool, Combo, Multi Combo, Its funny that out of all the heavy and large games you have in your library you chose this astray one only, You are so weird, etc. etc." voices. So, the achievements might make you stick with the game for few extra minutes of gameplay. But the chances are probably no one would last long for more than a 5 minute song . Good for a 3 year old daughter and for the parents who want to introduce their kid into the world of gaming, this could be the best start for any toddler or their first game indeed.
Absolute bare-bones matching puzzle game. It's just like a ton of other matching puzzle games but without any features other than the actual matching part. There's a "survival mode" (read: there's a time limit to make a move which resets after making a move) and (the well-named) "endless mode" (where... there's absolutely no win or lose conditions at all), either one of which basically just means you sit there and match things until you get bored and quit and/or fall asleep and let the timer run out. I don't like giving short reviews that just say "I don't like it" but... there's really nothing else to say about the game because there's nothing else in the game to talk about. There are achievements for getting big enough chains, but outside of that, there's literally nothing to strive for, you just match things because you've been trained to match things by other matching games up until you realize the game has no feedback and doesn't care, and you shouldn't either. Some of the o...
Kind of match-3, that game is pretty relaxing and very well done. Good soundtrack, visually pleasant, very easy to play, I can only recommend it to you. You want it? Don't hold back and get a copy. There are several modes, everything related with butterflies
Grid-based puzzle game where you use your queue of butterflies to replace ones on the board and match four or more of the same color to score points. There's a bit more to it but it's not worth explaining, because the game is just not fun or challenging. There's a free mode, timed mode & leaderboards. Easy achievements, high res & looks pretty. Music and voice are annoying.
It's kinda cute but the gameplay itself is like any other 'match' games. But instead of matching 3 things together you have to match 4 or more butterflies. It's pretty casual and requires no explanation really. It's a bit zen like because you have a lot of time and, I don't know, it just feels relaxing. I like it. [Rating: 75/100]

Cheap, simple but a delightful little match 4 game with butterflies as the "gems". You take butterfly from an endless stream of volunteers to create as long a match as possible starting with a minimum of 4. Enjoy a relaxing time in endless mode or a more frantic against the clock (dandelion) mode in survival. There are a bunch of steam achievements up for grabs as you release these colourful critters to freedom from the square "spider web " grid structure. Its quite a challenge to get these achievements after the first 15 or so, and an even greater challenge in the endless mode to beat the high scores already recorded on the online leader boards. While it doesn't claim to be difficult to play obviously the combined mechanics of matching and the forced next piece, make it slightly harder game than a straightforward match 3 but as a simple time waster it does what it says on the box.
It's nice relaxing game for any age. I like the survival mode the best! Makes me think quicker!
