Hedge Fund Tycoon

I'll come back to the game when it's finished, but in it's current state I cannot recommend it at all. I was looking for a game like this and it seemed to be the perfect fit, but there are major problems. I understand that the game is not finished, but there are massively game/balance breaking bugs. I could infinitely sell oil commodities, even while not owning any, thus meaning i had infinite money if i so desired. I could not sell shares in companies, despite being able to buy them, essentially defeating the point of the game. I had to refund given these issues, but I'll check in again with the game at some point in the future.

Managing businesses, making big operations, waited a long for something like that. Can't wait for future updates to add. Highly recommended to tycoon lovers!

I give it a hesitant thumbs up. I'm playing on the day of release, and it only cost $5. However, Hedge Fund Tycoon appears as a promising addition to the realm of complex business simulations, where the likes of Capitalism Lab set a high bar. However, this game, while having the bones of a solid entry into the genre, falls short, leaving a taste of disappointment. It's clear that the developers aimed high, crafting a game with intricate mechanics and an enticing concept. But the execution feels rushed and incomplete, like a puzzle missing crucial pieces. For example, significant investments of $25 billion in a company mysteriously disappearing from the stock exchange during gameplay undermines the entire experience. The game's potential is evident, but it's marred by fundamental flaws that render it unready for release. Steam has not similar game, so I would say one of the most engaging stock market tycoon games I've played on Steam. The game offers a complete and immersive experience and I appreciate the wide choice of financial tools available. However, I really hope in next updates and fixes. The price seems fit. I'd suggest it.

Ok, Just launched, so some errors and issues are expected and acceptable. But basic game functionality like saving/loading a game still "being developed" at the taking money stage, and the basic functionality of not being able to say shares in a share trading game is somewhat ridiculous. I may check back at some point, but with some basics at the start not being done, I won't hold my breath for the long term survival of this game.

Excellent game, there is a little more work to be done, namely being able to sort the tables. Everything else about this game is basically perfect.

Once its fixed and complete will 100% buy but currently I cant say its a buy will update based on new updates currently a 4/10

Just started to play it. The game offers a good finance and stock market gameplay. Fortunately as I understood, the game is not finished and will be upgraded. Very excited about present and future of the game

Boring game, already the richest hedge fund in the game ($5 trillion) and nothing fun to do.
