Goblins

And here I was with plans for the next few days... rip. The world design (including the derpy bois) is my favorite part, but I'm really pleasantly surprised with the gameplay variety. The progression is a perfect speed; not too tedious to level up, and *every* goblin type you buy stays useful throughout the game (an amazing feat for 10 goblin variations; the old Age of War web game only had to balance 3 iirc). The Ruby Clan has... questionable... tactics sometimes but it honestly just adds to the fun; everything still comes out to be an enjoyable challenge. Still working through the end of the campaign and I like how it's ramping up. Huge kudos to the dev. Also if anyone can beat Highrock Basecamp with only Soldiers please tell me how

This game is seriously addictive! Love the feeling when you have a tough battle and you finally get a goblin through the enemy gate. The strategy was just challenging enough to keep me entertained through the process. Very much recommend!

Pros: Lovely art style. Many different unlockable troops and special (artillery) abilities. Has both campaign (is worth playing a few hours if you want to buy and upgrade all the troops) and freeplay modes (can select custom difficulty and what music you want to hear on which stage;the higher the difficulty,the bigger the XP & gold). 20 different maps (more like backgrounds since the maps don't have any real effect on gameplay unfortunately). Developer does listen to feedback and makes fixes when possible. Cons: No online multiplayer (yet). No sandbox mode (yet). No ending cutscene or text for campaign that makes the final stage satisfying. Music tracks for freeplay mode are limited only to the game's OST (would be appreciated if you could select music from your own files during battles). Unoptimized to a degree (was getting low FPS on epic with a 1660 Ti after a while in Freeplay mode when the opposing force began spawning in larger numbers).
