This is a terrible, though enjoyable, game. If you're playing it, you probably know what you're getting into, and can make an informed decision between FS19/22/25. I'll keep playing it, and enjoying it, but I can't recommend this objectively terrible game to others. But if you're new to farm sim, don't buy this. Giants is getting lazier and more incompetent and this game is a blatant cash grab. The difference between this and FS22 is _barely_ more than cosmetics, flavor text, and should-be-free DLC, and in exchange for the total lack of meaningful new features they expect you to put up with an embarrassing lack of optimization. Giants wants you to spend money, but they couldn't be bothered to put in enough effort to deliver net-positive value. Much like Skyrim, the mods make these games. FS22 has the mods, and it's telling how few of them have made their way to FS25.

About This Game
Farming Simulator 25 invites you to join the rewarding farm life. Whether you build your legacy single-handedly or cooperatively in multiplayer - it’s your farm, you decide!
This Farm is Your Farm!
Build a farm along winding rivers and historic grain elevators in North America, surrounded by ponds in Central Europe, or in a lush East Asian landscape filled with rice paddies near a neon-lit port city. Grow crops, tend to animals, practice forestry, and manage an empire of business ventures with farm shops, productions, and constructions!
Weather-Changing, Ground-Deforming Atmosphere
Twisters and hail add new challenges, prompting farmers to prepare and assess the impact on their crops. Tire tracks also leave an impact thanks to ground deformation and plenty of new weather effects, making the view on your farm more romantic and immersive. Start the day with sun rays breaking through the treetops, illuminating the morning mist with golden light!
Asian Farming, New Crops & Animals
Grow two types of rice on water-retaining rice fields, or spinach, peas, and green beans as Farming Simulator 25 extends the choice of crops to 25 in total. Various tree species plus greenhouse vegetables offer even more variety. Adding Asian farming, you roam the fields operating new types of equipment, while mighty buffalo and goats join cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, horses, and other livestock in pens and pastures. Baby animals, too!
Authentic Machinery - GPS activated!
Farm more precise with GPS-assisted steering and improved automation. Operate over 400 authentic vehicles & tools from more than 150 international top brands. Including Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Valtra, and many more. Choose your favorite brand or discover exciting new technology!
Quality-of-Farming Improvements
Feel a deeper connection to fields and nature thanks to a general tech upgrade: Improved graphics and physics based on the latest GIANTS Engine 10 refine the experience. Improved accessibility and quality-of-life features make Farming Simulator 25 the most beginner-friendly way to start your life as a newfound or returning farmer. If that’s not enough, download developer-tested user creations from the in-game ModHub!

Great game but now its getting ridiculous .. If i want to play multiplayer with my friends . I can NOT use the paid DLCs if they dont own them And even more ridiculous . i can not use my SimDashboard if my friends dont have SimDashboard . cause now instead of the Simdashboard PC controller being a interface into the game system like it is for EVERY SINGLE GAME except this one . It now is a " MOD " for me to use my SimDashboard Button box tablets . And if i want to use them then i have to get anyone that joins me to download and install Simdashboard App on there pc and then get the FS25_SIMDashboard_Interface.zip into there mods . this is getting out of hand and a WASTE of money We are paying ALOT of money for this game and the DLCs and all for these kind of headaches . its getting alittle out of hand . what next ? cant use my steering wheel or farm sim panel if the other ppl playing dont have the exact same ones too ? FIX THIS crap . SimDashboard should not be a " MOD " when its...
If you’ve never tried a Farming Simulator game, you’re in for a treat. Imagine piloting massive tractors and combines, tilling fields, sowing seeds, and harvesting crops—all while steadily growing your own agricultural empire. Its open-ended, sandbox nature gives you total freedom to set your own goals and pace, so if you prefer tightly structured gameplay, it might not be your cup of tea. But for those who love exploring and optimizing every aspect of farm life, it’s endlessly satisfying. Having farmed my way through FS19 and beyond, I can honestly say this latest entry is the most polished and engaging the series has ever been.
Endless amount of hours of play time for a reasonable price. If you are new to farming sim, I can't recommend it enough. That said, it's probably very similar to FS 2022, so if you already have that one maybe it's not really worth it, unless you really care about slightly better graphics and some minor changes in the mechanics.
I dont know if all the moders quit, if they stayed on 22 or if Giants is just being lazy about approving the mods but the Modhub has been really lacking
just a chill game had high blood pressure this chill game really causes you to sit back and relax really great graphics and a mod community next to none select your starting point from nothing to a advance start having large land holdings I played with zero dollars took out a small loan for a small tract of land very pleasing to see goals met and setting new ones
this game is a big upgrade in my opinion to the series the graphics the features and the modding is all really good i love this game 10 out 10 for sure if you have the money and are considering a farming game this is it after nearly 700 hours since day one i have always hoped on everyday can not recommend this game enough
I feel like the visuals were improved, but the menus are much more clunky. Some physics might be better, but they just need to make a new engine. It is so old and not well optimized. I've tried the game on and off since launch and just cant get over the menus and how clunky it is. IMO this game in terms of overall quality is ok but I'll be sticking to FS22. for the forseeable future.
I played FS19 and generally enjoyed it. This one is not terrible persay, but it feel like a downgrade. The AI seems worse, everything feels kind cheap. It's kind of hard to explain. It just feels like they cut a bunch of corners. 5/10
way too demanding on hardware for a farming game. even on the lowest settings, my game freezes the second i attempt to get out of my tractor or stray too far from my farm. my PC isn't even bad, just not "good". very disappointing game. do not recommend at all.
