About This Game
It’s all about Communication, Teamwork… and Trust. Talk together, work together, and most of all, believe in your friend.
The two of you are alone at sea when pursuing a distress call leads you to a deserted island, where you encounter a mysterious boat ride in an abandoned amusement park. This is a voyage you won’t forget, with puzzles that take two to solve. The state of your friendship will directly affect the state of your friend-ship!
Be aware, this is an actual test as you’ll be graded on how well you solve these puzzles! Will friendship truly last forever? Or is this friend-ship sinking to the bottom of the ocean?
We Were Here ‘Expedition’ Series
From the makers of the renowned We Were Here Series comes the bite-sized We Were Here Expeditions! The perfect chance for new Explorers to get a taste of our flavour of co-op puzzle fun - while longtime fans can try to achieve the perfect score. Everything's better together with a friend, and crossplay is supported so if your friends use a different platform you can still board the friend-ship!Playing with your friend and communicating well is key to the series: asymmetrical puzzles give players different perspectives and can only be solved together. But don’t worry, your walkie-talkies will let you keep in touch. Over and out!
NOTE: This game is co-op only. It requires both players to have a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection.

Loved the rest of the series but this one fell flat
Overall the We Were Here series is amazing I played them all through with my wife and we thoroughly enjoyed all of them... except for this one. It is by far the worst in the series. The rest of the games I would recommend whole heatedly as flushed out puzzle games for partners or friends this one however is three short mini-games that you need to constantly retry to get the perfect score. If you do it on your first go the game is less than an hour the only replay-ability comes through failure which due to the randomness of the second game or the jank physics of the third game ( we often fell through platforms doing the intended actions the game wanted us to ) you will have to try many times. tldr: Play anything else in this series. play all of the other ones in this series. Dont bother with this one.
The first game in the series that I wouldn't recommend. It's short and the puzzles are more or less separate from each other. You get either bronze, silver or gold for completing a puzzle in a certain amount of time or how well it is performed, but you only need bronze in order to progress to the next puzzle. There's no real story which means that there is no real progression of the game, more like a theme park (which to be fair is what the game sets out to be).
There were a number of technical issues with the third and final puzzle of this game which soured my enjoyment of this game. For the octopus platforming puzzle, most of its difficulty stems not from figuring out which platforms to jump to based upon where they'll move, but rather, jumping a certain distance and hoping that a.) you don't collide with the lights, b.) you don't clip through the platform you're jumping to, and c.) that the platform moves quickly enough to follow you if you happened to be jumping to the same platform. This didn't appear to be intentional game design, and even if it was it wasn't fun or engaging for either me or my friend to get stuck on this specific section. The selection of the servers also generally didn't reflect where my friend and I were located, which resulted in latency issues that made finishing the rest of the time-sensitive section not worth the additional hours we'd have to put in.
Funny game.
I will leave the cat here, so that everybody who passes by can pet it and give it a thumbs up and awards. /> フ | l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ_ヽ)__) \二つ
