The game is super chill and relaxing. I don't really leave reviews, but I was confused and intrigued by this game. It's an odd game that doesn't really fit a category: sort of Super Monkey Ball meets FPS Peggle on steroids with electronic music. I'm pretty terrible at maximizing points in arcade mode, but you can sink some hours into this no problem. I could see a lot of customization to play styles if you got good with each ball type and learned the stages, but its a bit beyond me. Once you figure some of the levels out, you can get pretty high scores and chase numbers if you want. I enjoyed the colors, soundtrack, and finding foxes in each level while trying to not hit capybaras with while blowing balls around (seriously). The capybaras that roam the levels and interfere with your placements and plans for a few levels ... I laughed. MASSIVE levels, cool concept, game is a polished early access type game. Looks good, plays and doesn't crash that I can see, but don't expect a triple AA...

About This Game
It's golf meets Quake 3 meets Plinko, with a Yahtzee-like scorecard!
Explore the carefully-created world with dozens of levels, each with 11 fun goals to achieve, creating many different types of fast-moving challenges and a lot of replayability.
Check out the mystical meta-world that connects the levels, and enjoy the trickiness of trying to control a hundred moving things at once. It's like herding cats! Try out the many different types of projectiles, each with different mass, bounciness, physics, and cost, to solve various challenges on each level. Drop forcefields that repel and guide the projectiles as they bounce around to create the perfect track to herd all your shots to the goals.
There's Adventure Mode where you can explore the carefully-crafted meta-world and complete challenges to unlock new levels. Or try Arcade Mode which only gives you 1 minute per level to max out the fun!
Check out the action of your moving shots from above with a live overhead satellite view, or hover in place. Your fox friend follows you and tells you everything you need to know as it comes up. Included is a multi-artist electronic music soundtrack, with a song for each level and an in-game playlist. With an estimated 10-30 hours of gameplay, DownhillMadness is a unique single-player experience you won't find anywhere else!
