Riders Republic
(take this review as mixed and no the game isn't that bad for being negative) a fun game that sadly gets heavily repetitive and boring after a while. also doesn't help that multiplayer modes (except grand races) are completely dead making achievement hunting really really tuff you have to force the matchmaking by spamming invites to everyone otherwise you will wait for hours. i saw some people complaining about the trick keybinds? or something like that and personally after i got the hand of it i had 0 problems doing tricks and getting excellent scores. as much i praised ubisoft that still makes some "niche" games, their horrible mark is still in this game too... bad monetization if you buy the complete edition you only have the year 1 sports and toys making all the ones a seperate expense, remember the devision 2 had a huge drama for this so much that they gave to every owner of the complete edition the last dlc for "free". oh and let's not forget about...

Great game, but i bought the complete edition. This is far, FAR from complete. It should be illegal to call something complete when its not. You get like 15% of the content in the game for the complete edition. Theyve also tactically put a bunch of DLC in-game shop ONLY, so that new buyers dont see it on the steam store page and realise how much DLC there is and what youre not getting. Insanely scummy.
I really enjoyed extreme sports games as a child and have been looking for something like those games, just new and better, but this is not it. The first thing you see when you start the game is an unskippable cutscene that shows you all the cool things you can do in the game instead of letting you... uh, I don't know? Do them? You're bombarded with info text, tutorials, awful characters with bad voice acting (if the voices are even real people at this point), cringy characters who give off influencer energy and of course a bunch of currencies. And of course it has to be a live service game with season passes and microtransactions. I would've loved this game if I could just drop in and out of races, challenges and the open world without the UI and info overload; just me, myself, and my former PBR to beat. If you don't spend more money on the the more expensive editions the game basically remains pay to play, after already having paid for it. Great idea, but stupid, overloaded, and r...
Brilliant game, worth every penny when on sale (complete edition). Just a note that there are issues with this game on the latest version of Bazzite (Fedora 42) - it will run (install Battleye runtimes), but the 2D map is just a block of grey (3D is fine) and also the player will randomly stop either free roam or in a race for a split second, which isn't ideal when you're in the lead. I see another recent comment that states this running Fedora 42, and I am assuming it's a connectivity issue as all other metrics remain stable.
its very fun and i like the graphics and gameplay
Super fun and casual game to turn your brain off to. Thrilling races and fun events- Mass Events were the biggest draw at first, with lobbies of usually around 50-64 people all jockeying for position, wiping out, etc., but once you get used to the overwhelming map and events list, it really opens up. Stunts, live events, standard campaign races/events, and even just free-roam while looking for new vehicles is a damn good time.
I was absolutely convinced this game was made by the forza horizon devs until I looked it up, and even then I wasn't convinced it was not a side project or something... The games systems are virtually identical. Won't speak for anything other than the mountain biking. Which is pretty good, considerably better in fact than games with bikes like MXvsATV. The ONLY issue is that I disconnect rather often but I suspect that's an issue with my personal machine than a server issue on their end. You can't do multiplayer custom routes (major downside, idk why this is even a problem) but the creation tools are serviceable enough to make some fun things.
If you want a realistic bike/snowboarding game this is it, but it doesn't just have those it has a lot more fun other things yo can do so i would try it out!
very fun game and interesting to play with friends
its pretty good but it would be better if you could tune and customise your own bike
