[h1] A Classic Ruined by a Bad Port [/h1] Browsing through Steam sales, I stumbled upon this game and thought: “hey, I used to play this as a kid.”. I bought it, installed it… and ended up disappointed. The game itself is still fun, a classic of PC racing, but what they’re selling here is the PlayStation 1 version, emulated in the worst possible way. It runs at 15–20 FPS, the visuals are awful, and any sense of smooth gameplay is gone. The worst part? The original PC version looked much better and ran flawlessly. In short: the game is great, but this port is a disaster. If you actually want to enjoy it, go find the original PC version (now abandonware) and play it the way it was meant to be played.
