Hollow Survivors

Hollow Survivors ~ ⚰️🔪💀🌌🌙 (9/10 Hollowed Potatoes) So, I started playing Hollow Survivors thinking it’d just be another roguelike where you smash monsters until you die. Turns out, I was right but also kinda wrong. This game made me feel like a sad skeleton cosplayer with a caffeine fix, zooming through a tower of therapy sessions with demon therapists. The weapons? They range from “butter knife cosplay” to “nuclear lawnmower.” And the upgrades? Half the time it’s like: +5% damage. Awesome, now I only need 19 more runs to take down something without crying. The story? Apparently, there’s a cult trying to bind souls, but I can’t even bind my shoelaces without a YouTube tutorial. And let’s talk about movement speed—my Hollow was walking slower than my grandma on ice. The first five minutes had me thinking, “Guess I’ll just accept death.” But after I snagged some upgrades, I was Naruto-running through hell while everything exploded in cute...

Progression is very limited and the game feels quite repetitive really fast.

I dig it. I think the biggest issue is the lack of variety of power up abilities after beating a floor and I wish what material you get after beating the boss wasn't random but that being said Im sure future updates will fix the lack of power up ability variety. I can't wait for more updates.

It is very fun, and the retro style is nice. It's also challenging and not pay-to-win, which is a nice feature that I don't see very often. Overall, this is definitely one of the better ones out there

Pixel art based games don't usually hook me but, this one did! Its a masterpiece! Has many unique cards to keep your runs varying in uniqueness, with each update being a worthwhile wait adding plenty more content. There may be a few issues here and there, but other than those small issues, this game is amazing!
