Happy to finally have a farming-crafting game that is unique and not just a Stardew Valley clone

I found this game by a complete stroke of luck. Back in march while browsing some GLT artists on twitter, through a chain of reposts I stumbled on a small account posting screenshots of this game. Immediately the pixel art got my attention, not only because it reminded me of another game I played a lot called Nuclear Throne, but also because I love the look of intentionally rough and low res pixel art in general. But then it turned out the game wasn't even released, with only a demo available (the latest one, afaik there were earlier versions with more content). I spent 18 hours completing the demo in just 2 days, that's how hooked I was. And so I sat waiting for early access release. The main thing I want to point out is just how smooth the gameplay feels. Pretty much every mechanic except maybe combat, like collecting resourses, building, farming, fishing, even cardboard boxes for extra inventory space, everything just feels right. Especially I love the fishing minigame, I might be ...

Cute and relaxing game and dust the right amount of grinding. Travelling is kind of a hassle though.

I didn't think I'd find my Maplestory itch scratched by a sidescolling garbage collecting farming sim but here we are. It's great to see something in the stardew valley genre get a new twist. For anyone looking for something different but still cozy and full of surprises you can check this out... or not. Up to you. Your life xD

Good game tbh. Imo it’s like a mix between Terraria and Stardew Valley. The game basically includes familiar mechanics such as farming, fishing, scavenging, mining, crafting, hunting mobs, buying/selling, and exploring. There’s also an affinity thing with some chars so you can kinda “bond” with them. What makes it stand out tho are the unique mechanics. Like, acid rain or scorching sun can actually ruin ur crops, so you gotta cover them with plastic wraps. Also there’s an energy system, so if you wanna use electronics, you need to gather energy first before powering stuff. An then there is skill tree so u need to gather ur skill point to upgrade ur skill, then u can unlock more stuff to craft. It’s still EA so the story’s kinda short atm, but it’s already decent and feels promising. Gonna wait for the next update

I was excited for this game, but did not expect how unique and well made it is, as someone who has played harvest moon, stardew valley, Eastward Octopia, I loved this game it had everything I love about game farming, but it gives so much more

Genuinely unique farming sim with mechanics that are inspired by its setting, such as the intensified seasons and recycling. The exploration, movement, and combat mechanics are surprisingly fleshed out and satisfying. Also, just absolutely beautiful artstyle. Worth the price already and I'm looking forward to what they add!
